This is the second one I bought because of the price/brightness. The lid for the batteries has a connection which when you close does not always work. Second, there is no diagram on the lid to show which way the batteries to be placed. At least I couldn't see it. Otherwise good value for money.

Works well and is very bright

battery none my now batteries had to push hard in get in and shake hard to get out as the light does not work pure rubbish , this product will give Amazon a bad name . do not buy

Good value, Excellent light

Very good light for our Summer House. Used two which gives plenty of light.There is a small battery insertion guide at the top of the light which is a major improvement on previous models.

Bought this portable light to put in my bunny shed and so far (only had for a week) it has been great! Lights up the shed and I can see what I'm doing and the bunnies seem to appreciate having light in the evenings instead of having to sit in the dark!

Excellent bright light. Very versatile, and small and light enough to carry on you. I needed it to access an outside storage unit at night. Perfect for the job and very useful to be able to hook it onto things as you work too.
