Rit Dye Powder-Petal Pink, fabric, Multi, 1

This has given a new lease of life to two expensive Red T-shirts that became faded due to exposure to direct sunlight. A mixture of hot water (in a plastic bucket), salt and the powder dye and 30 minutes later after soaking, the T-shirts look brand new, beautiful shade of a darker red that’s vibrant

Great depth to colour, very easy to use and as good as other well known brands. Have washed item once at the moment but still a good strong colour so far

I dyed a pair of light grey jeans with 2 x packets of Rit cocoa brown The results werent great but adequate coverage of the jeans so can wear them with some reservation! A bit patchy ad not a full dark colour.

Instructions could have been clearer, and product easier to use, dyed articles nicely

Worked as advertised

I followed the exact recommendations to augment the effect of the dye with common household ingredients as required. Just one twill cotton top to be done. Admittedly heavy cotton but half was already a suitable blue colour. The other bit was already a washed out red. The effects were really poor. The product hardly dyed the red cotton leaving it still very red!. The best coloured bits were hardly discernable light shade of blue ( very light weak tinge) The rest left weak stringy colours. Total waste of time, effort and other ingedients. I dont want to be hurtful but this dye was inadequate for this particular top. My advice- Dont waste money buying this product if you value the material uou want to dye - its probably ok to dye a pair of white socks or part of a White T shirt if you are lucky… get a decent dye- it will save you loads of wasted effort.

Great did what was required

This dye works great! Just put some hot water in a pot, add the dye and throw in the clothes you’re wanting to dye. It worked beautifully, and those items are now a very pretty yellow.
