I needed a replacement stick for my Amazon Fire stick (4K Max) after the old remote control stopped working following a few years of use. Ordering was quick and easy - and since this is an Amazon-own product, it arrived very fast and in decent packaging.I was impressed with how easy the new remote was to pair with the TV stick – just holding the button down allowed the remote to 'find' my TV stick and pair with it. The battery life is also excellent, to the point where I regularly forget how long it's been since I changed the battery – it just seems to keep going.Other features of the Fire TV Stick are the same as before. The remote is made of high-quality plastic, and despite having been dropped on my hard floor several times now, it's yet to leave a mark. The buttons all click with satisfying precision, and I like that there are dedicated buttons for some of the most commonly used apps – including, of course, Amazon Prime.Finally, I expected a replacement remote to cost more than this, so I was pleasantly surprised by the price. Of course, though, the very hour this arrived was also the hour where my old remote chose to start working again, so I now have two – typical!

Works an absolute treat with our tv. Good value for money. From tie. To time the connectivity drops out which can be a little annoying but it’s nothing really too difficult to overcome

The remote does connect to Fire TV Cube, however, only partially works. Some buttons work, others do not.Fire TV Cube keeps saying it's updating security & software on the remote but it never actually completes which I'm guessing is because the remote isn't official.Materials feel OK (not particularly good or bad). Build quality is the same although battery cover alignment seems a little hit and miss.The buttons that do not work are: power, rewind, play/pause, fast-forward, mute, volume up, volume down.
