LOOKS GOOD, EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND LIGHTWEIGHT
Bought to replace existing canopy that had rusted. This replacement was a bar price and easy to assemble. Extremely lightweight so quite easy to Install. I would recommend using different fixings as the Raw bolts supplied are more for heavier equipment. Very pleased with it and as made from Polycarbonate material it should easily withstand the weather.

Very happy with the product.
The product is really good. Superb quality and well fit. It comes with anchor bolts, but I used my own concrete screws.

Needed new fittings
Why did you choose this product over others?:It was easy to put together. Instructions were fine. The only problem I had was the fittings for attaching it to the wall wouldn't catch the inside the brick . I had to buy new ones . Once I had them was easy to fit. Looks the part and does what its made for .

Decent quality and value
Having looked at both aluminium and polycarbonate options, I settled with the polycarbonate as it had a 1.2m single span wheres, the aluminium ones I saw, were limited to 1m span - a little tight for a 900mm doorway. Having said that, I would have been happy to invest more on the aluminium for its better durability (?)This canopy was better than some of the slightly cheaper alternatives as the polycarbonate sheet came in one piece - others were joined in the middle; another durability concern.Assembly was easy but, it took a few hours to install on my own with lots of up-and-downs on the step ladder and double measuring for the wall drilling. Hanging was also awkward (for one person) as the expansion bolts supplied are “push-through” and tighten whilst installing. A second set of hands would make things a lot easier. The expansion bolts are okay for the light weight polycarbonate canopy but, for a heavier canopy, I would prefer to use resin anchors on hollow brickwork as the resin would expand and distribute bolt load across the hollow void in the brick.

Fitting instructions could have been better.
A simple canopy from a twin wall plastic sheet, a couple of fairly substantial plastic moulded arms and a couple of aluminium trim bars. The instructions for fitting are woefully inadequate and no measurements are provided for the fixing holes. I put the frame together loosely without the plastic sheet in order to work out the placement then drilled the 10mm holes for the anchor bolts. Here I made the mistake of pushing the anchors flush with the wall when they actually need to be proud of the wall by 1cm at the bottom and 1.5 cm at the top so that they will fit inside the matching holes in the arms (see picture). Having got the frame to fit nicely I took it down and reassembled it including the plastic sheet which doesn't really want to bend much so this is the time to go and find some help. With the sheet installed and the screws holding the trim bars tightened the whole unit is fairly rigid while being light in weight. I suggest that it absolutely takes two people to get the canopy back on the anchors and bolted up. A small problem that I encountered was that three of the bolt heads were 13mm and one was 14mm; not a major issue but annoying. Check that you have the right size spanners before you start. A bead of sealant will eventually have to be run where the actual canopy meets the wall but that will just be a finishing touch. We now just await some rain to see what protection the canopy provides.
