Does this scope have a range finder or are they suggesting you guesstimate based on zoom & focus combination or just no range finding at all?

Most scopes when stating rangefinder means; the graduating lines beneath the reticle center, based on avg shoulder width of 18 inches on an adult male. General rule of of thumb is reticle aim[pint is your 100 yd zero the next cross line being 200 etc. and if an 18 wide target fully fills that line your at said range. Overfill split difference low under fill split difference high. I.e say third line down not counting crosshair would be your 400 yard mark, if a set of shoulders somewhat overlaps this line split the difference to 350/370. If it moderately fills less than the line, call it 450 ish. Generally this zero and ranging lines are present I ended to a certain power on the scope which varies by manufacturer. Go to a range with multiple distance targets and use same ammo each shot and you’ll easily determine the functionality.. For more precise aiming then you go to your turrets and a/o. This a quick and dirty explanation. Plenty of you tubers to explain it more concisely

Will this work good on a 223 and 5.56 ar?

Absolutely, provided that you choose rings with a tall enough base so that the objective lens clears the rifle.

What are the sight adjustment increments? I have one and most the card telling me that.

1/2 moa or 1/2 inch per 100 yards. I gave up on mine because it wouldn't respond to adjustment properly. It also would not hold zero after finaly getting it lined up. At least it didn't cost much!
