DO NOT BUY
looks good but it is a horrible radio. bluetooth works when it wants, carplay works when it wants. Most unreliable piece of technology i’ve ever used, and yes I installed it correctly. It also lags all the time. I don’t even leave reviews but I must do my good deed and steer other humans from ever buying this piece of junk .

really impressed
only had this installed for a few hours but im honestly really surprised how well this works. i installed it in my 2008 vw gti. it ended up fitting perfect. i chose this one because it came with the can bus and i wanted to make sure the steering wheel buttons worked. i was retrofitting this car because i picked up a 2019 ram and when i drove my gti i was missing the ease of use with audio and the backup camera that the truck had. was pretty easy to install, plugged in the correct harness since it came with three. look up online how to take your dash panels out. i noticed that it wasnt turning off when the car was off so i found some video online about disconnecting one of the plugs connected on the harness if you have the can bus installed so im going to go try that. i also noticed that the android auto wouldnt connect to the zlink thing wirelessly if you have a vpn so unfortunately i'l have to disable that, might use tasker to turn that off when the bluetooth connection is showing as connected to the car. android auto works just as well as my stock 2019 ram when plugged in, the wireless connection to android auto is slightly choppy but its understandable and really awesome, since my truck doesnt even have that capability. i was also surprised when it was actually able to see i was in reverse, my car is a manual 6 speed and i was not expecting it to be able to register that. the 8888 code works to get into the other settings area, i need to explore in there a good bit before i modify anything there. i couldnt reprogram any of the buttons from the steering learn menu which is supposedly where you can do that but they did all the normal functions anyway, even the phone button pops up the phone app which previously did nothing at all on my year gti. it did come with a microphone, but i couldnt find where that gets plugged in on the radio. i love that this thing is basically just a tablet, i remember hooking up head units years ago and there always used to be so many wires you could barely get the radio back into the dash. i did make a separate gmail account for the google account on the radio, dont trust it that much... overall super impressed, great value for the functionality.

volkswagon
works perfectly but I had to pay someone to install it for me. There is a second of lag when it comes to playing music. The bluetooth connection takes a second too but it's the only thing that works with my sound system.

Will return ASAP!
UPDATE: It does not fully power off! The radio’s screen might be off, but the unit is still pulling power. I’ve had to jump start my car due to the parasitic power drain from the radio leaving me with a dead battery. It looks nice at night, or on a cloudy day, but the screen is too dim for daytime use. I’ll attach a picture to show how it looks with maximum brightness on a sunny day. Also, there is noticeable lag when making selections, but it’s not a major inconvenience. A major complaint, however, is that you have to always manually turn the head unit on or off. It doesn’t power on or power down in conjunction with the car being turned on or off.Bluetooth connectivity is inconsistent. Sometimes the paring is instant, but often I have manually connect my phone, which is a bit annoying.Audio quality is ok. It’s comparable to entry level Bluetooth products. There’s a nototiceable loss of fidelity and it has a tendency to peak and distort at relatively low volumes. Perhaps that isn’t an issue if you’re running an external amp, but the power output of the head-unit itself isn’t enough to optimize sound quality. It does have a lot of bloatware preinstalled, but that’s easily deleted. The installation is really simple. Thankfully. Because the instructions are very poorly written. You can tell they’re a direct translation from Chinese to English. Some cool things about it are that it shows when you have any door open, including the trunk, and it works with my OBD Bluetooth transmitter. And it does look pretty close to being a factory installed radio.

DO NOT BUY
Do not but from here, ( BEWARE ) I PURCHASED THIS CAR STEREO only half the screen works, after 3 months of back and forth with Podofo they have stopped responding to my messages stuck with this junk!

You can’t beat this for the price anywhere
I just got this radio today. I immediately installed it super easy to install. Just a few screws and popping the trim off, the instructions pretty much had everything I needed to know. I could figure out the rest for the most part just have to play with all the settings, fit and finish is great and for the price it’s amazing. It has some weight to it feels good , pretty responsive especially with wired CarPlay, but wireless CarPlay does work too just a little laggy came with lots of accessory wiring for multiple versions a back up camera USB wires and a lot of extra wiring for the back up camera, and the can is module. steering wheel integration also works great, it also gets rid of that annoying volume decrease the stock radio has when you increase the volume and it makes my stock speakers sound amazing as well. I was reading the other reviews for the larger screen version and there are only 2 so thought I would help out, also vehicle is a 2013 Passat tdi SE

Junk
Can-bus unit is junk so the radio stays on at all time and will drain your battery, “power off” is just dims screen and mutes it.

Easy Installation! It looks GREAT too...
I have a 2014 VW GTI and this was by far the easiest car radio installation I've ever done. They provided all the parts and adapters to make this an easy project. However, I wish there were clear detailed instructions, the vague and somewhat cryptic manual provided little help. Full operation of the device is going to require extensive trial and error, but it works well for the price I paid ($109). My rating should be closer to a 4 rather than a 5, but overall I'm very pleased... it looks GREAT!!!
