Not a SAPS oil
Well it's engine oil so what can you say, except that I noticed one review where someone said; "The best oil made by Shell". That's a little misleading as Shell do a range of Ultra oils, in particular Shell Ultra Extra and variants like AV-L (for Audis) and AM-L (for BMWs)...and yes, the oils do have different specifications (amazingly!).Shell have an *extremely* helpful technical assistance helpline and it seems Ultra is NOT a low SAPS oil - low sulphur, ash and phospherous - and so may not be suitable for some cars with diesel particulate filters. For these you need the AV-L and other variants depending on your car, but it's woth checking.There's a very good oil selector at: [...]
