Love This Cutting Board!
This teak cutting board is such a great buy! The wood feels super solid and high quality, and it looks really nice on my kitchen counter. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t seem to stain or hold onto smells like some of my older boards did. It’s also really gentle on my knives, which I appreciate. I use it almost every day, and it still looks great. Definitely one of the best kitchen items I’ve bought recently. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for something sturdy and good looking! Very happy with my purchase.

Very Nice Quality At A Reasonable Price.
Extremely good quality cutting board. Totally flat. No warping. Nice weight and doesn't slide on my counter top. Anyone with a knowledge of wood properties knows end grain wood is best for cutting surfaces. If you've ever seen chopping blocks in a butcher shop you will see that they are usually made from glued up end grain wood. Usually rock maple in that case. This cutting board is nicely made as well as being visually attractive.

Coloration is a bit chaotic, but it's massive and durable!
I wasn't 100% convinced by this board on arrival, it was slightly warp and the coloration is so varied that it is off putting, but after using it for a few months I am very happy with it. The slight warp has resolved itself, this thing is heavy and stable. the coloration is still not my favorite, but the end cut wood is proving to very durable, and an occasional oil treatment does give it a nice sheen. It is proving to be quite durable against nicks and cuts. It has a substantial drain, though I have only used it for non meat use so far. I would buy this again and would gift this.

Beautiful, Well-built, Flat as a Pancake
I purchased this item with the understanding that it might not be perfectly flat. I have owned two wood shops in previous years, and at one time, I built a similar cutting board. A lot of work goes into these, and there is no way I could replicate this because of both time and money. When I opened the box, I was blown away by the beauty. The different pieces of wood were nicely balanced in terms of color. The very first thing I did was to see if it was flat. It was definitely flat on all 4 corners could not spin around. When I turned it over, one corner did dip, maybe .040" or so, but as a woodworker, I realized that finding a perfectly flat board of this size is nearly impossible. It did not spin at all. I knew I had a keeper.Teak wood is an extremely durable wood and difficult to find. It contains natural oils that act as antimicrobial agents that prevents bacterial growth so long as you clean it regularly. End grain is a better choice for keeping your knives sharp. It is possible to use a sanding block periodically to remove the scratches and to renew its luster. Just make sure that you use a quality board oil on a regular basis and adhere to general advice found everywhere on cleaning cutting boards. This board should last a lifetime.Pros:Beauty: Five Stars *****Workmanship: Five Stars *****Durability: Five Stars *****Flatness: Five Stars *****Price: Five Stars *****Shipping: Five Stars *****Cons: None that I could findOnly time will reveal the truth. Just make sure that it is not stored in sunlight, around a source of heat, and do not let it soak in water. Gently wash it with warm-not hot water, mild detergent, rinse it, then lightly towel dry it.This would make a great gift.

Great for the price!!
Had a really weird smell that took 1-2 months to really go away. I absolutely love my cutting board. It is big and heavy, so it can be a bit difficult to move around and clean, but I've gotten used to it. I love that I can prepare all of my food for a meal on one cutting board. It works well for serving meals to friends as well. The color is a bit different where the knife hits it, but I don't mind it. This was the cheapest cutting board I could find of this size and end grain at the time of purchase, and I have been very happy with my decision!!

Functional and Attractive
After a couple of days spent soaking up a not-insignificant amount of mineral oil, this board has entered regular service. It's a well-built board, easy on the eyes, and I particularly appreciate the deep drain trough on this board, the primary driver behind its purchase. There's not as much variation in color as I'd expected, but it's still quite attractive in itsdarkness. It's massive enough to hold its position well on the counter when in use.Nothing so far indicates anything other than many years of good service.

AWESOME CUTTING BOARD
We have several cutting boards but we wanted one that was bigger and thicker. We shopped for just the right one and decided to buy this one. We were not disappointed. It was perfect. Very heavy so it doesn't slide around and though we have used it a lot it still looks like new. Just be sure to treat it with several coats of cutting board oil before using it. We used Clark's Cutting Board Oil and we completely satisfied with it.
