This is a beautiful work of art as well as a functional piece of kitchen equipment.You could leave it out on your worktop and no one would think it was a spoon rest.

I was looking to replace an ancient melamine spoon rest and decided to buy this one as I thought it would not only do the job it was bought for but also look stylish at the same time. It is quite light and only holds one spoon instead of the three that my old one did, but I tend to use only one spoon at a time, so no problem for me. Overall I'm very pleased with it, but have deducted one star because it is a bit pricey for what it is.

Blip sits beside my kettle and is perfect for plonking a T-bag into or resting the sugar spoon. I love the interesting design and this would make a lovely gift for Alessi collectors.My blip was purchased in 2016 and have gone through the dishwasher every day. It looks as good as it did when I purchased it!I really should get another one so I also have one to use when cooking! Great value for money and I highly recommend. It will last a life time and probably get passed on down generations!

Bought for my Wife's porridge spurtle!Perfect size and shape.Small but beautifully proportioned item.Easy to clean and looks great on the work surface.No very sharp edges on mine (which some have complained about) but I wouldn't want to slide it around too much, as it may scratch.It's not cheap for a spoon rest, but it's an ok price for what you get and I haven't found anything else so perfect for a spurtle!Pleased with this purchase.
