So, we have a child with sensory issues. He has a particularly hard time with loud noises. The shrieking noise that normal strapping tape makes when taping up boxes sets my teeth on edge and is virtually unbearable for our kid. So we bought this tape thinking that if it was even marginally more quiet, it would be worth it. Well, it is nearly silent, just as advertised. We love it! It makes packing more tolerable for my son and honestly for me too. I didn't realize how much that sound was grating on my nerves! This tape also seems to have good adhesion. We haven't noticed any difference in stickiness or holding ability versus the tape we were using. If anything, the fact that this tape is thicker and sturdier makes it easier to handle, because it doesn't bunch up on itself as easily. I would highly recommend this product!

Very easy to use, I have very heavy boxes of books, and I have no problems whatsoever. Sticks like a champ, and you don’t hear a sound.

I do really like this tape a lot it's a little thicker then most standard packing tape making it much easier to use it doesn't rip easily and it's very easy to find the end of your not using one of the dispensers all in all I would definitely recommend is to others and i have every intention of purchasing it again as long as it stays affordable

I can’t believe how quiet this tape is. I was feeling like nails on a chalkboard anxiety with the old tape I had because we package a lot of items to ship out. I bought my husband this tape so I could try & get sleep & didn’t notice he had already been packing stuff for an hour. Great quality too!

I work in a small office and some of my coworkers complained about the loud crackly noise the traditional packaging tape makes when coming off the spool. So I purchased this "quiet" tape. It is indeed very quiet coming off the spool...virtually noiseless. But what you get in quietness, you give up in adhesion. The tape is not as sticky as standard packaging tape so you must take extra care when sealing up your boxes.

I literally hear NOTHING when I put this on my tape gun and was using it on a box I need to put back together, absolutely NOTHING, no noise that rolling of tape makes, no fingernail on chalk board sound.That is unreal and amazing by itself.Now the tape also sticks very well, I've packed up a house and used cheap dollar store tape only to have to buy the good good tape and re-do all those boxes.This tape does not pose the same dilemma, its a one and done application so happy about that for sure.I'd recommend this to anyone
