Blue Tongue BTCST9.5 Boots

I work in metal fabrication, so a boot without laces is ideal for hot work. The boots are comfortable, the stretch built into them keep snug for a pull on. The contour on the inside is like hiking boots and keeps my older feet from ailing.Money wise is more subjective. They're not American made and they're not the cheapest constructed foreign footwear either.

Overall great work boot, I gave 4 stars because the edge of the mesh lining inside the boot is very uncomfortable until you break the boots in. I had to wear an additional pair of socks to stop the seam from aggravating the outside ankle area of my foot where the seam made contact. I highly recommend but must be broken in

I have worn Redbacks/Blue Tongues for 30 years. They wear well and are way more comfortable than Blundstones. Only drawback is they do not like icy weather - below 30F or so. The tred compound is apparently intended for warm/hot weather walking. They cling to rocks/cement very well where there's no ice. I have worn them in the snow, but that's not an optimal application for a low-top boot. 95% of the year I am in my Blue Tongues.

This is a cheaper version of the redbacks that I usually order for my husband, by far the best investment that I've made to switch to this brand. The comfort, sturdiness of the boot and the steel toe feeling it has to offer. Awesome!

I wear a 9.5 so I bought a 9.5 and fits like it should. Really well made and slip on easy, took about 2 days to break in the area around your toes. A few weeks into wearing them and the backs are still kinda stiff for a few hours in the day. Im on concrete all day which is why I bought these but my feet still get really tired half way through the day, could just be my feet though. I like them but dont think Ill buy another slip on boot again.

Great value, for a very long wearing, work boot for the automotive technician.

Best boots on the market.

Love these boots. Use as station boots and they are really comfortable. Have to wear them in a little to be able to slip on easily in the middle of the night. Nice that they are steel toe as well when dealing with heavy medical equipment. Great value and have been great for me .
