Small rig knocked the ball outside the park with these. I bought the smaller one first and was immediately impressed.... So much so that I order this the larger version the same evening. My favourite essential accessories for my small rig camera rigs. Placing the monitors now is a breeze, the quality is exceptional and everything is rock steady..... Top marks Small rig.

By far the best magic arm I’ve owned so far! Very solid, without needing to wrench up the clamp too tight. Really it will hold an external monitor at finger tight

It's so nice not having to worry about it becoming loose mid-use. This thing locks up nice and tight, and with the Anti-twist pins it stays rock solid.

Super quality but not as robust as the standard steel Magic Arm on a motorbike. Much more vibration and not really suitable for that application.

I use this to hold up my DSLR in the gym during competitions or training and it never ever sags or droops. Very strong and works well

A good bit of kit for the price

£38 at time of review I’ve loads of small rig cages, mounts and gear that I use professionally all the time, so they’re a name I trust with my expensive cameras, lights monitors etc This arm is no different, it’s as solid as a rock once attached and offers a great amount of movement, it’s perfect for my studio set up or out in the field. It’s actually lighter than I thought it would be, but still very strong, and the screw thread attachments are good and solid too. Hope my review was helpful

I have many magic arms as I'm a photographer and I would say this is a step up from the regular black and red generic types for sure, both in build quality and also in locking ability, one small but nice touch is the holes in the locking rings which make it easy to tighten and untighten with my little screwdriver, I have no idea if they were intended for this but it sure does help, it's a handy arm for my field monitor and works well.

Super Magicarm. Nicht so billig verarbeitet wie die Anderen. Verzahnung ist stabil ausgelegt und bisher tut er mir gute Dienste. Wenn das so bleibt, ist der Preis auch gerechtfertigt.

The "SMALLRIG Rosette Magic Arm 11 Inch with Ball Head, 1/4"-20 Screws, and Anti-twist Pins" is supposed to handle up to 3 kg, and it maybe can, BUT there is a flaw in the design. The weakest part is actually the two '1/4"-20 Screws, and Anti-twist Pins'. This part is not sturdy !! It is actually so flexible that it makes the whole arm flex more than the cheaper "SMALLRIG 10 Inch Magic Arm" which is rated for 1,5 kg! I actually removed the '1/4"-20 Screws, and Anti-twist Pins' (it has glue in the very short screw threads at the end of the ball bead, so I used a big vice to unscrew it). That screw is made of stainless steel but It's a pity that it's length is very short! If it screwed into some metal part, it still will be more sturdy without the stupid '1/4"-20 Screws, and Anti-twist Pins'. The 'Bow Arm - New locking structure at the gear joints for smoother angle adjustment' is in not good either. It has too few steps. Again, the "SMALLRIG 10 Inch Magic Arm" is much better in this respect. I had planned to use the arm with an (very good) iPad holder 'ULANZI Select Metal Plate Stand Mount for iPad', but ended up using "SMALLRIG 10 Inch Magic Arm" instead since it was better (for me) and much cheaper!

Tout métal même les rondelles et les écrous de serrage. Semble solide. C’est un second achat. Le précédent avait certains éléments en plastique, ils ont cédé trop vite.

"SMALLRIG Rosette Magic Arm 11 Pollici con Testa a Sfera, Viti da 1/4"-20 e Perni Anti-torsione" Trovare un difetto a questa magic arm è impossibile, semplicemente non ne ha. Solidissima ma nel contempo leggera. La uso come terza mano per ancorare gli accessori al treppiede e non mi ha mai deluso. Totalmente realizzata in solido alluminio e acciaio. Non posso che consigliarla, per me vale 10 stelle!
