Grandkids loved making shapes

I bought this for my kids - ages 2, 3 and 5. They all love these when we bring them out to play. My 5 year old loves making mosaics (usually flowers), my 3 year old loves making patterns or one really long line from one end of the room to the other, and my 2 year old just loves connecting them together. Great toy for motor skills and imagination!

My grandson, who is 2, put all the pieces together. Looking at what he had designed, I thought that it looked like a sidewalk. I never said anything to him...and before I knew it, he was walking back and forth on it! It's a wonderful toy that will grow with him. Right now the challenge is putting the pieces together so they fit. When he is older, he can do color sorting, and make other patterns. The only thing is that I thought it came with design cards, and they were not in the box. I wonder if I can still get them....? So I gave it a 4.

These are fun, unique and let kids make up mosaic style pictures. There are pattern cards to follow if they want, but they will have fun coming up with their own patterns as well. These are sized perfectly for little hands but can be fun for kids of all ages and even for adults who want to play.

It's difficult to find appropriate manipulatives for very young children. These are large pieces and two year olds can easily handle these and create as can 6-7 year olds. They all enjoy the idea cards included and they can also be very creative. I like open ended toys such as this.

Our nephew added these to his Christmas wish list after playing with them at our house. They are durable, educational, fun and most importantly easy to pick up and keep clean! One of the few toys that does a great job of being mindless fun and brain challenging depending on the game.

I bought these for my niece for her 2nd birthday last year, and she loved them then and still loves them a year later now that she's almost 3. She loves all the colors, and they have really helped her with motor skills and creativity. And of course, my sister loves the fact that these come with their own case, so they can easily be contained and also taken from one place to another.

Our mother is 64 and was diagnosed with dementia 3 years ago. A friend of ours posted she bought these for her son and I thought our Mother should try them. She LOVES them! You can almost see her mind working and trying to focus.
