Slice 10404 Replacement Blade, Ceramic, Finger Friendly, Rounded Tip, Lasts 11x Longer Than Metal

I use my cutting tool almost daily. The initial blade that came with it lasted a long time. The replacement blade was easy to install and is sharp without the risk of cutting yourself.

I love the cutters these go into and the greatest thing about these knives is you won't cut yourself like you would with a razor blade in a box cutter. The ceramic blade .... unless you really press into your skin .... doesn't cut you like a box cutter. A razor blade cuts you with the 'slightest' pressure and this ceramic blade does not.

These was easy to change. They blades was what they was pose to be. I will buy again.

Seem to be ideal for making lines in colored pencil work as they do not damage the surface.

So far this product has surprised me, as it certainly seems to work as well as my old (steel blade box) cutter). I only gave it four stars, because at this point have not used it but on a few boxes. Obviously, no need yet for the replacement blades I purchased. I also purchased the smaller Slice Blade, which I discovered is great for opening all sized envelopes (no more sloppy uneven opened envelopes).

I work at a warehouse when my position requires to use a ceramic box cutter for 12 hours straight at a time. When I place these slice ceramic blades in my slice knife, it works wonders. When cutting tops off of boxes to be placed on shelves, it honestly cuts like butter. These blades are durable and keep their sharpness and last a long time! Absolutely impressed and happy with my purchase!

Purchased this to replace my Slice cutters. I have no problems cutting cardboard boxes and at the same time I don't have to worry about accidentally cutting my fingers. I can't really say they last longer than the traditional utility knife blades, but the safety factor alone, I'm sold on this ceramic blade.

If you purchase the ceramic blade box cutter, replacement blades make sense.
