Awesome for beginners. I started with only basic knowledge of stitches from a costuming class, but was quickly able to learn more decorative stitches through the thorough instructions. Includes everything you need to get started. So pretty and fun!

This set is great, especially for the price. Each piece has it's own bag, threads, needles. Included was a needle threader and compact scissors. The directions are easy to follow and a code box is available if you need a visual aid. Really happy with the set.

BIG FAN. I am really having fun with this new crafty hobby. This picture is my first one and I think for a beginner it's not too bad! I'm on my second one and could not be more pleased with this product. What a wonderful way to get off a screen and let the mind relax. The designs in this set are really beautiful and the finished products are actually a handmade giftable piece of art. The instructions are basic, but really like any craft it just takes a little bit of trial and error to get the hang of certain stiches, but embroidery is very forgiving and fun to learn :)

This was my third kit “for beginners” that I’ve done so far, so I’m still fairly new to the whole embroidery thing, but I get the basics. This one was a lot of fun, but definitely complicated in some areas. All of the designs came nicely stenciled, but once you stitch the “dirt,” you have to basically freehand everything that goes on top of it. Not necessarily a bad thing, but beginners might have a hard time with that. It was pretty tricky trying to perfectly line up the cages that the plants are in, and then I just had to guess where the rocks, soil, and other leaves/plants were supposed to go. That’s really the only down side, though. The kit comes with everything you need, including plenty of thread in case you mess up or want to thicken up the design a bit. They also included a cute little “best wishes” card and sticker, which was a nice touch. Definitely worth the money I spent. Overall, I am happy with this purchase, and with how my final products turned out.

This was an Easter gift for my daughter. She LOVED it! High quality and a great value. She's very excited to get started.
