Elephants: A Book for Children

Purchased this book for my granddaughter, who loves elephants. Wanted to get a book with photos of real elephants- this book did not disappoint- she was/is very exited every time she looks at the photos.

I purchased this for a reception/ year one class after reading the other reviews. They are so spot on... this book is absolutely a must for elephant fans, as I am. I have purchased other books by Steve Bloom as his photography is amazing... The thought that has gone into presenting elephants at work, play and as a family unit is really clever and thought provoking for adults and children alike. The print is readable for children and easy to grasp for younger ones giving insight into the world of eles. Highly recommended.

I agree with all the other favourable reviews. It is a lovely book and my 9 year old daughter loves it. The photos are excellent and the text is just the right level for children.

I bought this book for my 8 year old daughter as she adores elephants. She was more than pleased with it. It is very imformative but in a simplistic and interesting fashion and the photos in it are gorgeous.

Purchased as a gift for my grand daughter and as far as I know she likes it. It is full of lots of info. very pleased I bought it.

A wonderful book, my grandson will love it. Great pictures and just enough text for him to enjoy reading.

Fantastic photos and great info!! This is a great book of interesting facts about elephants and beautiful photographs displayed on every page. I got this book for my 4 year year olds birthday because elephants are an absolute favorite. Fun book for all ages my 2, 4 and 6 year old all love it and it's one I enjoy as well.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my senior sister (75+) because this particular book has more photos than written script. The photography is amazing!!!! The reviews were strong on this and is what helped me to choose this book out of many offered. The title is “Elephants: A Book for Children” but it is definitely for all ages. The photos each have a script to describe what is being shown, not too much, just enough to help learn a particular trait or anatomy about these grand giants.This gift was in the top favorite for her.I Definitely RECOMMEND.
