Very happy with the purchase, definitely a really good thick quality ethernet cable and easy to tack along the walls too with the clips provided. Excellent value for money and would recommend this cable to anyone.

I bought this 5M Cat8 cable to use with our home internet setup, and it’s been spot on. The speed is excellent no more lag during downloads or playing Xbox. We’ve noticed a big difference compared to the older cable we were using. The flat design is really handy too it runs neatly along the skirting board without sticking out or getting in the way. Feels solid and well-made, and the ends clip securely without any wobble. Perfect for anyone who needs a stable, high speed connection for work, gaming, or streaming. Would happily buy again if we need another length elsewhere in the house.

Great Cat8 cables flat design doesn't fold across and up or down that well but I never thought about that enough before purchasing so that was my misjudgement lol still an amazing product had no data problems and works brilliantly.

Good product

Recently changed from copper line to fibre and decided to move my router to the other side of the room. Seems to cope with the speeds with no drop. Easily placed the flat cable around the skirting board.

I have used this cable to provide a direct link between my router downstairs and my upstairs hub. I have a 600Mbps (download) Virgin Media fibre connection and am now getting that speed (plus a bit more; see photo above) reliably upstairs. (Note that you must use correctly connected shielded plugs on both ends of the cable to get over 100Mbps.) Whilst the cable does claim to be suitable for outdoor use (i.e. it is UV resistant), it is quite thin and doesn't appear as robust as Voietolt's Cat6 Outdoor (direct burial) cable series specification suggests. Feeling a little uneasy after installing, I dropped a line to the company who responded overnight, assuring me that the cable I have can be used outdoors but shouldn't be buried (which it isn't). Time will tell if this cable stands up to the elements but so far, so good and I am happy to take the risk given the company's response. If it does degrade, I'll probably replace it with Voietolt's Cat6 Outdoor cable in any case. A wired connection to a router is generally faster, more reliable and far cheaper than an (additional kit) wireless connection, so £20 on a bit of cabling in a few years' time isn't an issue. The only minor pain will be re-installing the cabling. I'm more than happy to award Voietolt five stars for now, not least for their speedy response to my query.

Working perfectly

Va bene, il cavo è buono e piatto, forse la guaina di copertura non la trovo ottimale per ambienti esterni (ci sono cavi specifici più adatti), ma è ok. Per la classe 8 è discutibile l'utilizzo. Dovrebbe essere certificato a 2 GHz permettendo su linea lunga ethernet (90 metri) il funzionamento a 40 gbps. Per una connessione a 10 gbps è sprecato. In campo SOHO si arriva a 10 gbps di dorsale su rame, in campo enterprise dove le dorsali sono a 100 ed oltre gbps (anche ad 800) si usano cavi MPO a 6 coppie ottiche... quindi un cavo in rame con una banda passante di 2GHz... è discutibile. Basta meno. Funziona ? Si perfettamente !

Avant l'achat, je m'attendais à un câble de bonne qualité, mais celui-ci a largement surpassé mes attentes en termes de performance et de fiabilité. Si vous cherchez un câble Ethernet rapide et fiable pour vos connexions Internet, je recommande vivement ce modèle. Il répond parfaitement à mes besoins et ne m’a donné aucun problème.
