I was looking for a good phone case for my iPhone 7 that wouldn't cost a lot. For reference, I've used Speck cases (the ones with the little grip lines on the edges) since I've started using smartphones and they always end up cracking halfway through the year. I took a chance on this one and I've had it for about 3 months and so far, so good! I've dropped my phone a few times, but I've seen nary a scratch or crack on the case or on the phone itself.The only downside is that I could only find a case for my phone size in one color - I wish there were more colors to choose from! But if you like the Slate or don't care all too much about the color of your phone case, this is a good, grippable, non-bulky phone case option!

I don't usually take the time to write reviews but feel I have to fort his item after what happened today. I had put my phone on the hood of my car while putting my kids in and forgot it up there. it stayed up there for my trip to the store which was close by to my house but when we got up to a higher speed on a main road (50 mph) we heard something hit the top of my car and fly off and bounce several times all the way across the road. Finally came to the realization what that was and thought for sure my new Iphone was going to be completely broken. I was able to go back and find it laying on the road and to my surprise it was 100% fine!!!! My husband and I couldn't believe it! The case wasn't even damaged all that bad. scuffed up a good bit on all 4 corners but I think the grey rubber edges helped a lot in saving my phone. This may be one of the best purchases I have ever made!!! Needless to say I came home and just bought another one!! Thank you for this not only cute but great quality cell phone case!!!!

I ordered the slate case and was surprised that the case I ordered is a one piece case, not a two piece as I thought. Then, taking a closer look at the pictures, there are 2 slate colored, two black, and 2 mint cases, where one is a one piece and the other is a two piece. So, my review will be on the one piece case. The phone snapped tightly into the case, and it seems secure. The texture of the case is a tad slippy in the hand, but the 4 raised corners on the back stop it from sliding around. The raised lip around the face keeps the screen from making contact with a surface when placed face down, even with a tempered glass screen saver installed there is still clearance. All buttons work fine, and ports are good with the apple charger, wired earbuds, and standard aux cable.

I could not charge my iPhone 8 wirelessly.

So far, so good! I’ve had my iPhone 6 for about 3 years and this is the 4th Case I’ve had for it. I’ve always gone for the bulkier, heavy duty cases but I decided to give this one a try. It’s slim; which I like better for handling the phone. It feels more comfortable in my hand and gets in and out of my pocket a bit easier.It seems to be easier to hold on to because it’s more comfortable in my hand. I would drop my phone regularly with the bulkier cases on it and now; I haven’t dropped it one time in the week that I have had this case on my phone. I feel like it will provide drop protection from normal, short falls....super fast shipping and very affordable price too!

Sturdy case for a reasonable price.

The phone case seems to work well. It’s protected my phone from a few falls already, so I am thankful for that. However, you should know that the “mint” color is very misleading in the picture. The actual color is barely darker than white. I would never consider this a mint green, and because it is so light, in just a month’s time it already looks grey and dirty around all the edges. If I hadn’t needed a new case immediately for protection purposes, I would have sent this case back. I probably would still order a case like this, I just would have wanted a different color.
