Perfect for pretenders
Purchased one each for my children. Didn’t need the plugs as they like to just pretend but great quality

Great value
Great value for money! It doesn't sound too bad, doesn't feel too cheap (in fact it feels fairly rugged, even though it's made mostly out of plastic) and doesn't cost a bomb! I'm using it for a jam night and it works well. The on/off button works well and is very useful if there are feedback issues. Of course, it hasn't got the clarity and frequency response of an SM58 or something similar, but for this price... who cares!

Good for what you pay
I wouldn’t reccomend using this without a mic stand however it’s affordable and good for what you pay for

XLRs are XLRs, and there is an AES standard for their wiring!
I wrote an analysis of the problems with this when it arrived. All right, it was really cheap, but needed completely rebuilding before it was usable. The manufacturer will probably insist that I am not its target audience, but that doesn't change the fact that it was sold with an XLR connector - this should work, and make decent contact, with other XLRs.

Cheap, cheerful and easily broken
Cheap and cheerful - good enough for amateur use, but I wouldn't expect professional sound quality. **UPDATE** This mic fell apart after its first use. It still technically works, but have reduced this to a one star review as there are other mics available which are only slightly more expensive that are of a much better build quality. The shield (the wire mesh bit) is the part that will fall apart most easily.

Work with no issues
Bought 2 for my daughters karaoke machine. Definitely not as sensitive as her previous mics and don't sound quite as good but for just over 4 quid each they're not bad!

Microphone is dreadful .... lead is ok
I thought i'd take a punt at one of these just to record some sound samples ..... didn't need brilliant quality, but it would have been nice to have SOME usable quality. The microphone is really pathetic, picks up more noise off the creaky plastic case than it does through the mesh. The (supposedly) noise filtering foam inside the removable mesh head doesn't do anything for reducing noise from air movement, tried a better sock over the mesh and the microphone wasn't powerful enough to pick the sound up through it. At the end of the day i may just have got a bad one, but i doubt it ..... not worth sending it back so the seller can keep my money (don't waste yours if you expect quality though !) At the end of the day i have a perfectly serviceable 8ft long 1/4 jack to XLR cable for three and half quid ... happy times.
