I've ordered this for our newly purchased used Highlander that will be parked outside in a hot summer environment. I've had previously used poorly fitted sun shields that were way too small, or just didn't sit in the windshield properly. My purchase criteria was to find one that covered the whole windshield without any gaps. I ordered this sun shield based on the product description and the fact that it had various sizes. I input my 2008 Toyota Highlander in and it said the Large size would fit. I ordered this in the evening and it arrived the next day, so I was able to use it immediately. Overall, the sunshield did in fact fully covered the windshield in my Highlander. I was able to block out all of the sun light, except for a small patch by the rear view mirror. If there is one flaw, it is that there is not a cutout to go around the stem of the rear view mirror. So what happens is that you just have to push down the cloth where the rear view mirror stem goes and make sure to minimize the size of the opening to prevent any more light from entering the car. But that is a minor thing, considering the shield fully blocks the sun at the edges of the windshield. After using it, the car did still feel warm inside, but significantly cooler than without the sun shield. The sunshield also includes a little cover for the steering wheel. There is a flap at the top of the cover that you can slide over the top of the steering wheel. To be honest, it looks a little funky when the steering cover is installed and I'm not quite sure that little cover is all that functional other than advertise the brand of the sunshield. You could get away with not using it. The main benefit really comes from a well fitted sun shield that keeps the car cool, prevents sun damage to the top of the dashboard, and the effects of sun on the seats. Folding this shield can be tricky. I read the instructions, but you are better off watching the video on the Amazon product page. You have to fold the sun shield in half first (the right half and the left half), then with the two halves on top of one another, do the twisting thing. I was able to do it somewhat successfully, although most of the time I'm just going to take the sunshield, fold it in half, and throw it into the backseat. I wanted to order a sunshield for my other cars. However, it said that those cars (Camry, Lexus GS450h) also needed a six Large sunshield. I've seen some reviews from Camry owners that said the Large was too big and they ordered the Medium. I have taken this Large size sunshield and tried it on my Lexus GS450h. Although I made it fit, it was clearly a little too large. The vertical dimension was perfect, but the horizontal dimension (length) was too long. In this case, if you have a GS450h or a Camry, the medium size would be a better choice.

My first review was a but negative because the shade i recieved was coming apart already right put of the bag. I was going to leave it at that and fix it on my own. But Customer service reaches out and was very appreciative and apologetic on the honesty and condition of my ordered product. These guys were great and more than happy and willing g to get me a new replacement free of charge. That being said... the shade I'd great and fits my 2011 Caliber. Based on the size chart it seems a bit too big but it still works just fine..im able to tuck it into the grooves harping the windshield and it stays up without having to use my sun visors which are occupied bmwith other gadgets or holding documents. Quick and easy to deploy and install and just as easy to take down and fold up and tuck away for next time. The price is great and im a happy custimer.... with the product and with the customer service. Support like that deserves 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It's a sun shade and it works. You can instantly feel the temp difference when you put it up on a hot sunny day. Pretty easy to put up and fold back down. If you have a passenger you have to be carful not to hit them when putting it up or down (easer for them to wait outside while you do it). Fit very nicely into door pocket thing when folded. When in the windshield does not quite fix left and right so a little light get in at the sides. Fits great top and bottom, you almost don't need to put the the visors onto it (BUT I still put them down to be safe). I've only had it for about a week and the electric strap is still good BUT it feels like it can break at any time (But if the strap breaks; I can just use the bag it came in or a really big rubber band) Tip: Always look to make sure the electric strap is hanging down before you fold it so you can easily find it when your done folding it.

Works great. Comes with a storage bag. Effectively blocks all light from the windshield.

I wasn't sure what to expect but this window cover surprised me . It is very nice . It covers the entire front window of my Hyundai from corner to corner , even behind my front mirror! It also comes with a steering wheel cover made of the same quality as the window cover. This window cover is a life saver. By the end of my work day my car interior is a lot cooler. I'd buy it again.

In terms of the sun blocking/car cooling effects, this product seems to work pretty well. The reason I’m not rating it higher is because of Amazon’s “does it fit?” feature. I put in the make, model, and year of my car, considered and dismissed other options that I thought would work better, and ultimately purchased this product all because of that feature only to discover after opening the product that the window screen is actually too big for my windshield. Even now, when I check the listing, Amazon tells me it will fit, that smaller sizes won’t fit, etc. But it’s too big to the point that I have to bend the frame to prevent the screen getting shut in the car door when I close it. I’ve also had to use the visors to hold the top in place because it wants to fall out of the window since the screen’s frame is oversized for my windshield. I was happy with the price, the screen seems well-made, and I love the inclusion of the steering wheel cover—such a nice feature. Apart from the inaccurate sizing, the screen seems to work well. It’s definitely effective in keeping my black car cooler—probably by at least 10 degrees. It’s also easy to install (or it would be if it fit appropriately) and easy enough to collapse and store. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product, just not thrilled with the fit. I would recommend measuring your windshield and going by the numbers rather than trusting Amazon’s estimator.

This windshield sunshade was perfect for my 2025 Chevy Equinox EV. That vehicle has a long windshield that standard sun shades do not cover but does match that of the Tesla. So this fits perfectly and would recommend!

Large fits perfectly in the RAV4 2022 Neither the L or XL fits great in the 2019 HRV although I would recommend the XL as it will be slightly easier to keep in place. Prevents the sun from preheating my seats! Would buy again

Would be nice to have a strap to fit around the rear view mirror but it is compact when folded and very effective.
