Nushine Silver Plating Solution 50ml - permanently plate PURE SILVER onto worn silver, brass, copper and bronze (eco friendly formula)

I ordered this as a necklace of mine had begun to tarnish and the copper was beginning to show. The delivery was very promt, it came about 9 days prior to the estimated delivery. Which is obviously a bonus. Just done the first application and I am very impressed. Admittedly there were a few small marks still left and in places the copper appeared less prominent, however I had allowed the necklace to get into a pretty bad state and I was very pleased with how well the necklace came up. Im hoping that with some further maintenace that it will be as good as new. Its made it very shiny and the silver appears to have been replated. Worth the money, and as I only have a few small items this will probably last me quite some time.

This was so easy to use and I was surprised that it worked so well. I just used the solution with gloves and a cloth to rub into my silver plate. Looks amazing now as you can see from the before and after. A much better alternative than having to spend upwards of £50 to get my item re-plated by someone else. The results are great and I recommend this product fully. This plate was badly tarnished before and now looks so much better.

I followed all the instructions but it made absolutely jo difference to the silver plated collar that needed resilvering on my decanter.

Does what it says fine for a DIY product

Hmmm ... well ... it doesn't last too well at all. It goes on really quickly and buffs up well so I had great hopes. I used it on ring I wear for arthritis as I didn't like the copper showing through the silver. It started rubbing off very quickly. I feel it might be great for ornaments and display items but not good for rings that are on hands always busy and in and out of water. Shame.

I have written a review but not uploaded a photo so this is to add to that review. I had wrecked this silver ring whilst trying to clean it inappropriately and it went totally black. This is the result using nushine which I am delighted with It was easy to use, very quick and thrilled with the result. I love this ring and was very upset when I thought I’d ruined it. It’s now back to its former glory. I also used it on my steel watch strap which has cleaned up well and lost all its black look. Definitely recommend.

Tried this on two things: a plated tray and a plated dish. On the tray, there was some effect. The worn silver plating has been somewhat restored, but it left engravings on the tray looking dark and standing out. The engravings had - not surprisingly - not suffered any wear of the silver plating, but now they are the bit looking bad. There was no effect whatever on the dish. Both are non-magnetic metal (but not aluminium) under the silver plate. The tray is copper, the dish looks like nickel. According to the product description, both should work fine.

This product had mixed reviews so I kept my expectations low. However, I was very happy with the results when I used it to polish a silver plated tray which had lost its plating in places and in others was black with tarnish. The tarnish was completely removed and is now shiny again. It still has some lost plating but is now acceptable for use and with more polishing I am confident it will continue to improve. The product does seem to be gradually replacing the plating which has worn off. I will buy this again.

really a life saver and a miracle!! THANKYOU!!!!! my necklace was wearing down to the point you can see the copperish colour, bought another silver oxidiser on shoppe and it didn’t work thus i decided to try this as my last resort, IT TURNED SILVER after polishing several times, but it isn’t as shiny as it’s newest condition but, it is silver in colour and i’d take that :) so happy that i can continue to use this product when it wears off
