These Pencils Cured My Art Block!
I know that these pencils intended use is not art, but they are absolutely wonderful! I love using these things even though I’ve only use them for a day. They are very bright and colorful and just super fun to draw and sketch with in my sketchbook. I find myself wanting to draw more just because I want to see what I can do with the colors given. The refills on the lead are super convenient because I know now that I can have these pencils for many many months, if not years, if I’m lucky enough.I was extremely skeptical of these pencils, but I kept seeing some of my favorite art YouTubers raving about them. It seemed odd multiple people enjoyed what is kind of an obscure tool. So, I decided to give them a try and they did not disappoint! I don’t know what my favorite color out of these are, but they’re all extremely vibrant, vastly different in hue, and they are easy to blend and get a good gradient out of and they’re easy to layer as well which is really hard for a mechanical pencil to do. There is SOME smudging on the darker colors, but nothing too extreme. I’m so glad I bought these.

Pilot Color Eno and Papermate Clear point comparison
I got these colored pencils after buying the Papermate Clear points because I wanted to see if their leds refills could be a nice alternative. I use them to jazz up my notetaking game. The Pilot pencils are thin and light which makes them more comfortable for me to grip. The corresponding colors basicly look the same with some exceptions the pilot's orange pencil is actually a very nice legible yellow. The actual yellow pencil is not legible. The green is a shade lightly than Papermates which makes it harder to see. The sky blue which isn't in the Papermate version is visible and very lovely. The only major sticking point that the Papermate colored pencils have over Pilot is that they are much easier to erase and those big huge erasiers they come with get the job done. The rest is basicly a matter of preference all colored pencil lead is prone to beakage. This is a very nice starter with plenty of lead so you won't have to order refills right away like with the Papermate ones. Plus the paper tabs are great for saving spots in your book and won't ruin your textbook.

Everything good except the eraser
The mechanical pencil colors are good and bright on paper. They are helpful in making technical notes. The only downside is the eraser is not that good and replacements are hard to find in that size. This package includes one of each color mechanical pencil and one refill of each color. After opening I put the refills into each pencil almost fully filling them up.The pencils themselves are about as durable as your average mechanical pencil and they have a great feature that the pencil tip can be pushed back into the body of the pencil for storage. This makes transporting the pencils in a pocket or in a pencil box in a backpack easy. The set also comes with some construction paper flags. Five separate colors shown in the image. They are an ok addition since the most common flags now are typically plastic and pencil's do not write on them so having paper flags is a good alternative.-Updated after a little over a year: These pencils are some of the best Mechanical Pencils I purchased for note taking. Writing specific parts of notes for an IT Certification makes study easy. These have a RETRACTABLE metal tube where the lead comes out and I have not seen that on other brands that makes them perfect for holding, typically more brittle, colorful lead. There are some other Mechanical Pencils that are colorful on Amazon that are .5 and while they are pretty good, they are just not as well built as these, they do not have the Metal Tube that retracts or a one at all. The lead comes out of the .5 Uni Color straight from the plastic. The leads are a little more durable and they are a good option but if you only want to buy one set then buy these, these Pilot Color Eno pencils. You can't go wrong.

Great for sketching, especially for watercolour pieces!
I loved these. The price is right. Lead can break a little easily, and the color isn't erasing quite as well I had hoped but maybe I'm not using light enough of a hand. These are definitely great if you're wanting to sketch up something to watercolor or for gouache paintings and don't want to use regular lead. Loved them!

Awesome blast from the past
I just got these today and man I love them. These were a nostalgic buy for me because the last time I got pencils like these were from a friend in high school in the early 2000s and I cherished them! They all write nice and smooth and the thickness is just thick enough to do homework or notes. There are plenty of colors and even refill sticks for each one. They may be pricey for someone who just wants to write something but for me I think the price was not so bad for color writing pencils in mechanical form. They don't erase amazingly, like generic pencils, but I don't remember the ones from the past doing any betterI love them and can't wait to write all my notes and shopping list with them. Came with a set of colored sticky notes too! Thinking about buying them for my friends too.

My favorite colored pencils! I just want more colors!
Omg these pencils draw so vibrantly and so smoothly!! The pigmentation is super high and the quality of the lead is soooo smooth and great. Honestly, I love this SO much more than the $$$$ Prismacolor premier colored pencils that I have. The benefit of these being mechanical too is how fine of a point you can consistently get from them without having to constantly whip out the pencil sharpener. My dream would be to have the full array of Prismacolor colors available as as these Pilot mechanical colored pencils!!! 1000% recommend. A FANTASTIC purchase!
