Great!
Very impressed with the quality and how long my zippo lasts between fill ups now.

Nifty zippo case
The good: definitely helps make the lighter more visible (FDE & Orange) and the lanyard hole is a great way to keep some extra tinder on hand. The bad: the fuel still evaporates pretty quickly

Fits
Bought the zippo butane insert and it fit perfect

Not 100% Zippo compatible, and cheaply made
Technically a Zippo body fits inside this shell. Unlike a normal Zippo compatible shell, there's no little flange in the cap to flick the lever opposite the wheel. Even if you don't mind fiddling around with that (different Zippo compatible bodies vary on whether the lever is cosmetic), this is cheap plastic with dull orange panels rather than bright "safety" orange.

Good fit but poor seal on flip
Case fits your zippo perfect but it doesn't seal well enough to extend the lighter fluid by much. Maybe a few extra days.

Ineffective design
This zippo case makes your old dependable zippo difficult to use. The latch that clips the lid closed, prevents the users thumb from fully contacting the striker wheel. It does not seal the fluid in to make it evaporate slower like I had hoped. I wanted it to work, I tried to give it a chance but after 6 weeks, its still not preserving lighter fluid. It's now beyond the return window and I'm stuck with it.

better hand grip design, but not better fuel retention
good hand grip shape, doesn't take advantage of the cam finger to aid the lid in closing (dosen't need it since there's a self locking tooth when closing lid) but no improvement in reducing fuel loss from evaporation; setup both (stainless Zippo and spare Zippo insert into PyroValut) and filled and carried both, left and right pants pocket for 1 week. Both ran out of fuel about same day, 7 days for both. Swiss has a better idea with a gasket screw cap design, that's air tight but you lose any convenience on one handed use (same for the "peanut" lighters).

Just another EXPENSIVE Zippo cover...
Just for reference I don't smoke and only carry a lighter on the off chance that I may need to start a fire. For that use this is just another expensive Zippo cover. It does not keep the fuel from evaporating at all. I have owned it less than a week and it's already empty. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it has the space in the bottom for a tinder fuel fire starter so it's not totally worthless for my use but it's damn near it. also the big plastic latch on the case interferes with the action of the sparking wheel of the Zippo insert. For $30+, I'll be returning this. Save your money
