Only been using it if three days so far, but we are happy with the quality, the ceramic holder feels sturdy and good quality. The ceramic holder is better for resistance to the heat produce by the lamp. Easy to fit and use, only downside is you can adjust the direction that the lamp faces but otherwise perfect

Does what it says on the tin. Worth pointing out that the recommended cover (Repstyle Round Vivarium Light Bulb Heat Guard, 12 x 16 cm) does not fit over the lamp holder with a ceramic bulb in place (MvPower AC 220V 150W Ceramic Emitter Heater Pet Reptile Heat Lamp Bulb Black). I had to screw a couple of small cut off sections of mdf onto the wall to lift the guard far enough off the wall to fit over the bulb. Not a problem in the end for me but you would need to be aware of it as might not suit everyone. Takes about 10mins to get a ceramic bulb up to temp and is then mildly warm if you hold your hand 10cm underneath and almost uncomfortably warm if you hold your hand 10cm above the lamp. I bought it to heat my dog's box/kennel which is inside a shed with doggy access to the run outside (so an indoor dog box rather than an outdoor kennel really). It's enough to keep the box at a liveable temperature but not really enough to warm it right up. I suppose it is really designed for much smaller spaces like amphibian tanks. Will probably replace with something a little more powerful in years to come :-)

This lamp bracket is really good for the price. Bit fiddly to put on your lamp but it's very sturdy.

Purchased to replace original cermaic bulb holder that fixed directly to the to of the Vivarium. This looked safer as the bracket holds off the base from the Vivarium and I notice cooler temps on the outside top of the Vivarium, which is what I was concerned about. Definitely reccomend, but note you may need a longer lamp guard (I did) if using.

I bought a ceramic lamp holder for a reptile, its well made and pretty sturdy. What else can I say apart from it was delivered on time and well packaged. Have bought from this company before and will do again.

Used near a hot stove, just what I wanted.
