like some others said about drying longer, disregard. the base coat is meant to be sticky to grab the polish color, the color is meant to be sticky to grab additional layers or the top coat and the top coat is what cures quickly with no stick. no need to cure more than 1-2x per layer, it’s a waste and i’m assuming some of these users haven’t diy’d gel before or don’t pay attention when at the nail salon.i would suggest knowing the basic steps of a manicure, because prep is key with gel. soak and remove cuticles, buff in a texture and then remove all traces of oil from nail bed with either alcohol or polish remover before beginning. also when you polish, don’t get on your skin or it will dry there under the light, so either be careful or wipe off skin before curing.soooooo easy!!!

I was nervous about buying this kit because of the reviews but it was clear to me that the persons giving the bad reviews have no experience painting they're nails before or arent very good at it not saying i'm an expert but they're a way you have to go about this so that it comes out good. The kit is package very nicely and the tools are good quality. The polishes are just lovely every shade and they look very natural so dont expect it to be very pigmented you would have to do alot of coats. I'm wearing 1301 or 1302 i thinks its the peachy one looks very natural. The lamp is very strong i could feel the warmth but not in a burning way once you dont have any polish on your skin. I also realize depending on the adapter you use plays a big part on how the lamp cures so its best to get thats compatible with the lampe. I had on closest to it and cured so fast and strong. The entire kit is just perfect will deffinitely buying more polishes from this company again.

Okay the colors are beautiful. Comes with everything you need and more. Fast delivery. I was worried because of the reviews but honestly if you suck at painting your nails with regular polish don’t expect this to be any better. You actually have to have a steady hand and paint nicely or else it’ll look bad just like any polish ! The only thing was that the power of the light is not that strong so instead of doing 60 seconds do 60 but 3 times just to be extra sure the nails are dry. Great product ! Love it great price and I could t be happier.

I got this product so I could start doing my nails at home instead of paying $70 every 3 weeks to get them professionally done. The colors of the polish are all very similar with little to no difference. However they are sheer and jelly like so that’s a plus! The only major thing i’m unhappy about is the UV lamp that came with it. It is unbelievably small (you can maybe fit 2-3 finger under it at a time) and it’s drying ability is absolute crap. There’s also no way to change how long the light is on for. I had to cure the nails 3 or 4 times and even then they were still wet. If you really want to use this starter kit (which is cheap i’ll give it that) be prepared for the quality to be cheap as well and get a better UV lamp to go with the gel polish.

This came really well packaged and the tools are of pretty good quality. The nail clippers are really strong, not like the cheap ones you receive in most kits. The colors are well marked and the cuticle oil smells nice, with a lovely viscosity. The brush is lackluster, but it's just for brushing dust away. I have others. The lamp is a fair bit brighter than the other two mini lamps that I've received in other kits. It works well enough to dry the polish. The colors are nice, perhaps not for my skin tone. However, they are still great!! The top coat dries very hard, which I like and very shiny too. Apply ALL product in thin, even layers and you'll get great results. Excellent buy for the price point.. I'll likely purchase the other color kits as well. Always nice to have the extra tools and files.
