Fibaro The Button Red Z-Wave Plus Scene Controller, On-Off Trigger, 3.6 V

Great product from Fibaro. I have two of these buttons one on each bedside table. With a quick press before sleep my house plunges into darkness and all appliances are turned off. The size is tiny. You can pop them on a table or wall mount them. The batteries seem to last forever too. I really like the blue colour, it’s a good shade. I think they are a little pricy, but all the Fibaro range is. From experience their tech normally lasts for years. With a little turn the top pops off and the batteries can be swapped out in a matter of moments. If only other electronics embraced this level of quality and simplicity!

I purchased this to open/close the gate from my car which it does brilliantly. Its not a complex device, one button but if all you need is one button then this is the button for you!

MY 2ND ONE JUST STOPPED WORKING TOO NOW!!!Terrible design, to make a product that has its connectors fatigue over a short period of time, for a product that needs multiple inputs.The inside design of the button pushing against the connector to make battery contact just bends over only a few months with very little use even!COMPLETELY AVIOD!! Waste of money until they are fully re-designed

Heavy user of Fibaro and this button did add to a nice collection. Used for a bedside cabinet, it is programmed to turn off the room light (or on). Double click switches off all the house lights. Hold dims the bedroom light.All in all, very good design. It does throw a hissy every so often where I think it goes to sleep but this seems to have improved over the last few weeks.My only issue is the price - Most fibaro products are priced around the same amount - 30-40 but these buttons which lets face it..thats all it is can hit the 50 mark. Compare this to a motion sensor that has motion, earth quake detect, heat sensor and light sensor for 20 quid less...it's a lot to spend for a button and a battery which is known to have the odd few issues with connectivity.

This version is not the Apple HomeKit version. Please make sure you choose the correct one for your network and smart home

I brought this for use with the samsung smarthub, it works perfectly once you install the custom code available on the community site.

Tried to use this with Samsung Smartthings, still can't get it to work.To make it discoverable you have to press it at least 6 times, turns out it needs to be 6 very quick presses.So once it was found, still didn't turn on or off my lights, pressing the button feels like it may break too.I had hopes for this button as its expensive, might work great with the Fibaro hub but not with smartthings or Alexa.

Attention c'est l'ancienne génération. Ce n'est pas un Z-wave plus mais cela fait quand même très bien l'affaire surtout à 20 € de moins que la nouvelle version. C'est un article très bien fini comme d'habitude dans cette marque.

Ich hatte schon einige Batterie betriebenen Schalter/Taster anderer Hersteller in Verwendung.Alle haben entweder beim Inkludieren ins z-Wave Netz oder während des Betriebs Probleme gemacht.Keine oder verzögerte Funktion oder erst nach explizitem aufwecken des Gerätes.Bei diesem Taster ist all dies nicht der Fall. Einfaches einbinden (bei mir OpenHab) und super im Betrieb.Ich kann dieses Gerät nur weiter empfehlen. Einzig der Preis ist wie meist bei den z-Wave Geräten nach meiner Meinung etwas zu Hoch.
