Aedes Ars 1007 Aedes Loarre Castle Model Kit, 37 x 26 x 7 cm, Multi-Color

Sales person was very quick to reply, and dispatch the package He also made sure I could buy outside UK! The model kit is good, a bit hard and one needs a good amount of time to build it. (But that was the idea), as a hobby and to calm down, excelent! The set itself, easy instructions without words, explanes good.

This was a present for my wife Gill. She likes jigsaws and puzzles and was rather keen on the idea of tackling what would prove to be a very challenging project. I think you'll agree-she made a terrific job of this! A few month's worth of painstaking attention to detail - but the kit is very rewarding if you work hard at the detail.

This is the second Aedes-Ars kit I have purchased and being an older model of a more involved structure (lots of round walls), it was very much more challenging than the first. The instructions were even briefer than those of the first kit, but it was still manageable with a little thought. However for “first – timers” a smaller more basic Aedes-Ars kit may be preferable. It is also big! Completed it measured 66 x 54 x 30cms approx. and was weighty to, although much of the weight depends on how you choose to form the landscaping. All that said I still thoroughly enjoyed building this kit and am very pleased with the finished product. Being a building which very much still exists today, there is plenty of photographic material of the real structure and I was able to refer to that whilst building. The kit designers were obliged to miss out sections and very much compress others or it would have been a vast and complicated kit. However I was able to include some features the designers didn’t plan for i.e. a complete building section that had been omitted, a redesigned front door (!) and various other features. I very much enjoyed the build and the finished product, all in all a challenging but worthwhile kit.

Well worth the money great hobby just takes time to build great hobby.

This rating is for the speed and well receiving of the package. Can not rate the kit itself since I just got it and it will be a long time until I put it together. So far I have been perusing the instructions and although a bit confusing at first, in a matter of minutes and with a little mental effort, things begin to clarify. This castle, when completed will be a nice addition to the decoration of my living room.

Sarò di parte essendo appassionato di modellismo...ma devo dire che questo kit è veramente bello...completo quasi di tutto...a parte il materiale per fare le rocce e la base ovviamente,per il resto c'è tutto l'occorrente per cimentarsi in questa straordinaria esperienza hobbistica...Consigliato caldamente ai veri appassionati per la complessità del progetto.Arrivato con una velocità impressionante dopo 1 giorno.

Me gusta y conozco el castillo. He valorado con 3 la facilidad de montaje, porque realmente estamos ante una maqueta enorme, con dificultad a la hora de realizarlo. Con ello quiero decir que no es recomendable si es la primera maqueta que uno hace de esta marca. Si no es la primera, entonces el reto es impresionante. Como siempre en esta marca necesitarás más del doble de cola blanca de la que proporciona el fabricante, por lo que mi consejo es que junto con la maqueta, adquiere un bote de cola blanca. Recién lo acabo de empezar y no puedo decir si hay piezas suficientes, pero en otras construcciones que he realizado, acostumbran a sobrar piezas, pero a veces en algún tipo, venían excesivamente justas. Las explicaciones de montaje no acostumbran a ser muy exhaustivas, por lo que a menudo hay que echar imaginación y experiencia, pero en ningún lugar te dicen que vaya a ser fácil el montaje, por lo que no te vas a sentir engañado.
