Took a chance
With no real reviews I took a big chance on this thing working in my Ender 3. I'm new to 3d printing and of course put the memory card in upside down and damaged the card slot. I bought this as a potential replacement. One thing though, the board I got DID NOT look like the pictures provided. My original board looked 100% identical to the pictures.... What I got was very similar, but slightly different. Since my printer wasn't doing me any good the way it was, I decided to take the risk and install it.To my surprise, it worked. I didn't get ALOT of time with my printer before I damaged it but I do know that I no longer had the option to switch filaments. My old board had more options to choose from for sure, but I didn't know how to use any of them so I guess it's not too much of a loss. I think my printer was a version 2 and maybe I got a version 1 board? Unless less options was the "upgrade"?Whatever, it prints just as good as it did before. I may just try and get my old board repaired for the heck of it and swap it back to see what options I lost. If I do, I'll report back here.
