Camping kettle
Excellent little kettle does not seem to scratch. You can keep it clean just keeps going. The lid doesn’t fall off when you’re pouring. Fantastic little kettle definitely would recommend. I use it on a daily basis at work.

Great little kettle
A very well made and sturdy little stainless steel kettle that fits inside a larger Trangia 25 pot set (just), and is an alternative for those not wishing to use an aluminium Trangia vessel. It boils water nicely on both my stoves (Trangia 25 gas, Optimus Polaris) and the handle doesn't get too hot. The polished finish makes it easy to clean if it gets mucky or sooty. I'm very pleased with it.

Good quality kettle.
Used this on a fire and a meths stove and it was fine. Quite large for one. Lid fits quite tightly so should you want to remove it to make cowboy coffee, then it is a bit of a faff. Not a one handed operation. Good quality, robust. Should be able to pass this on to the grand kids!!

Great stove top /camping kettle
Have had one of these kettles for years. Well made, durable and looks good. Water boils quick . Have boiled it dry on numerous occasions and it's still going strong. I expect it to last a life time. Bought a few as spares incase they go out of production. Cleans up like new with a wire pad.

Fits perfectly in the trangia 25
Because I use the trangia a lot to make drinks I wanted to replace the aluminium kettle with stainless steel. This kettle fits in the trangia 25 kit and holds a little more water. After the first couple of days off use there had been no warping. All in all a good replacement.

Great kettle for over the campfire, bushcraft, camping
This is a great kettle for camping, hiking and bushcraft, it was designed to go over a campfire, it's robust, quality stainless steel and will last decades if not a lifetime. Very popular with outdoors enthusiast's who are into bushcraft and like to make a fresh cup of tea over a campfire, Can also be used for cooking too as in beans, cans of food etc. Looks really nice and is lightweight and compact, definitely one of the best outdoors kettles on the market. Would highly recommend.

GSI Outdoors Stainless camping kettle - great kit
I like my tea. I love this camp kettle. I had a smaller Trangia aluminium kettle for many years but wanted something bigger and made of stainless steel rather than aluminium with it's supposed health risks. This is fits the bill exactly. And fits inside a GSR stainless pot I have. As with the Trangia, on most planets you will need to just hold back the lid with a spare finger whilst pouring the last cup as, once past vertical, gravity take over. Highly recommended.

Reviews are for a different product
The kettle is very thin and flimsy. The piece of metal holding the handle can be bent with my little finger. It won't last long. Somehow the product changed but kept the high star rating of the previous one. Most review photos show a different item. No way this item is worth that much. There are better kettles out there for a third of the cost.

Pros: - Very sturdy stainless-steel construction. - Just the right size for a mug of coffee and either a bowl of oatmeal or a Mountain House meal. Note that actual volume when filling to the bottom of the spout is about 27 oz (800 ml); 1 quart (32 oz) is the total volume. - I love that the 4.6-in wide mouth is big enough to allow my CAMPINGMOON remote-cannister gas stove to nest inside the kettle, and the kettle nests inside my MSI Bugaboo Camper cookware (with the cup/bowls removed). - Smooth drip-free pouring. - No melty bits, so it can be used on an open fire. - Cute factor is through the roof. I chuckled a little when I first unpacked it. Cons: - The bare metal handle gets hot, so I use a tiny silicone potholder to keep from burning my fingers. - The lid is not held in place by friction, so be careful it does not fall on your hand when tilting the kettle to get out the last bit of water. - Backpackers might chose a lighter kettle.

I have the brushed aluminium version of this and it is super cute and lightweight. I love it but needed a kettle that worked on my induction and sadly this one does not. GSI should consider producing a layered stainless for the base so that this kettle becomes the perfect allrounder, similar to the Hario Buono

Petite bouilloire en acier inoxydable, très mal pensé. Le bec verseur est beaucoup trop court on doit laisser l'eau dans la bouilloire à 2cm du haut, vraiment dommage. C'est la raison pour laquelle je donne que 1 étoile
