Merriway BH07188 O-Ring for Metal Basin Plug & Pop-Up Waste 38mm-2 Pcs, Black

I had a rather irritating issue of water leaking out of a filled basin via the pop up waste plug, so rather than buy a complete new basin waste fitting, I unscrewed and removed the basin push/pop up plug and I noticed that the O Ring appeared to be a little stretched and so I ordered a twin pack of these Merryway replacement O-rings which arrived the next day.I again unscrewed the plug, removed the old O Ring, fitted one of the new ones and it solved the issue immediately.These replacement O Rings were inexpensive and simple to fit in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost of fitting a new basin waste.I would highly recommend these to anyone with a slight basin leak when the pop up plug is down/engaged - you will not be disappointed with the item or the time/cost saving.

The rubber was very thin and didn’t seal the sink water stopper properly.

Fits well on 38mm plug

These are just O rings not suitable for a pop up waste, might be fine for a plug but description states for both water just leaks away don’t waste your money if you have a pop up waste.

Wanted to replace an O ring on a chrome sink plug. (not a pop up). The product fitted the groove on the plug, but is just too thick.. So the plug plus ring was about 0.5 to 0.75mm too wide to fit squarely in the plug hole. Bought a replacement plug instead.
