Rycote 044901 InVision Universal Microphone Shock Mount,Black

Bought this to hold my vintage 1969 Neumann U87 and wasn't sure it'd be totally up to the job based on the price. However I would buy another one of these in a flash as they are far far better value than the Neumann mounts (totally overpriced) and very sturdy.

Neumann microphones are just brilliant. They are also hideously expensive, so when you take a deep breath, shut your eyes and finally pull the trigger, they try to stuff you up with a matching shock mount while your senses are impaired. Priced the same as a Chinese one that includes a microphone, these wire and basket arrangements have a whiff of Wright brothers flying machine fragility about them. All those elastic bands… Enter the Rycote. Sideways on, upside down, right way up, your Neumann/Rode/AKG/whatever precious start of your audio chain is held securely and safely. You can swap mics easily. It stays on the stand and you swap mics rather than shockmounts. Get one. Stop trying to thread your OEM shock mount back together while the talent wanders off to check for likes. It just works.

Die beste Mikrospinne die ich jemals benutzt habe, und das waren einige. Mehr ist dazu nicht zu sagen. Mittlerweile habe ich für 3 Mikrofone diese spinne gekauft und falls mich jemals nochmal das GAS überfällt - dann muss eine weitere her. Mehr ist nicht zu sagen: Perfekt.

Al principio se siente poco confiable, pero despues de usarlo por un tiempo he aprendido a confiar mas en el shockmount, el sistema me permite colocar diferentes tipos de microfono y los mantiene en su lugar sin problemas, a pesar de ser de plastico no he tenido algun problema con asegurarlo con diferentes microfonos, tiene un adaptador por si el atril tiene otro tipo de enroscado, en general es muy bueno

Used this to mount up an ElectroVoice RE20, and it worked wonderfully The mount system is cool, no elastic bands. So i hope the longevity will be good. Was super easy to rig up, and works wonderfully. I can tap on the boom arm, the desk, and throw the whole rig all over the place. Mic ain’t picking up a thing. Excellent product
