Good coloured pencil paper
I use this paper for coloured pencil pet portraits. I find this paper can hold a lot of layers, and the slice tool and tombow mono eraser work well with it to create highlights. Arrived a tad dog-eared after not being looked after too well in the post though..

Extremely disappointed
I'm very disappointed in this paper. My first impression was that I was very happy despite the fact the lower left corner was slightly bashed in, somehow the block was still in-tact. The paper has a really nice fine grain but it is not completely smooth, or I think, suitable for botanical painting like some have suggested. It depends on what you're looking for. If you want paper with super fine, 'almost' smooth grain then pick this but if you want a completely uninterrupted smooth texture, I'd pick something else.Immediately as I started using my W&N paints, the paper began to buckle like wild to my shock and two edges immediately came free. Its buckling was even worse than the non-stretched paper I've used in the past and my paints started flowing and pooling everywhere they shouldn't, which was very upsetting. This was such an expensive block and was not worth the price. I could justify it being half the price for the positives that I mentioned, but for only 20 sheets that distort more than cheap watercolour paper and the worst pooling and blooming I've ever seen, I can't buy it again nor give it a good review. I've been told that the regular, non-block version of this paper is better but I'm hesitant to try it being £34.00 out of the bank with terrible paper to paint on. So I'm considering switching to Arches next time.

... for botanical watercolours and find it is probably the best paper I have used so far for this practise
I use Fabriano Artistico for botanical watercolours and find it is probablythe best paper I have used so far for this practise. It is smooth and cantake quite a lot of manipulation of the paint, where others tend to scuff.
