Spot on. I can see how there may be trouble fitting different treadmill cords to different manufactures but this certainly fitted ours as exactly as the original. An experiment with >> a magnet out of kids toy << while I was waiting for the order indicated that any old shape will do as long as there is good contact. From this I surmise if this product did not exactly fit the notch on your runner and you were forced to trim it down to fit - it would then be fully OK as the machines themselves do not appear that fussy. Disclaimer: 1) Please do your own similar experiment. 2) Do not run on a machine with a magnet and no cord. I did still have the kids toy one attached to me by a string.

I like the product but its not like the picture therefore before ordering this key for your treadmill make sure you measure the key part in diameter.As long as the key safety part is around 2.3cm then you can use it in any treadmill.

Works Great with my treadmill, bought a a replacement as my dog ate mine and couldnt get the treadmill to start when it was mssing a safety feature, it has surplus rope to what is needed but just tied a little knot in to use up the excess rope.

This will not work with a NordicTrack 14.2 Treadmill. The magnet part works, bit the NordicTrack 14.2's safety key also has two pins that fit into the console. Since this has no pins, it does not work with that model of treadmill.Product description should not use woolly qualifiers on the universality (size of magnet was the only one given) of the item and should be specific about which treadmills it will or won't work on.

Fantastic arrived quick and it fits my everlast treadmill so I'm well chuffed and to top it up I found mine that the cat got and lost it was magnated underneath the treadmill it self little buggers least I have a spare now. Tnx

Not good at all! It certainly is not a universal key because it didn’t fit the treadmill. 4 emails later asking for help and I’m still no further forward. Disappointed!

I had lost the key for my treadmill at home and needed to replace, direct from the manufacturer this part was set to cost me £15 but instead I only paid the £6 for the above and was back up and running again...literally
