5 Stars – Impressive Performance, Game-Changing Durability, and Outstanding Customer Service
I’ve tested a lot of solar panels over the years, but the BougeRV 200W CIGS flexible panel is on another level. First off, the shade tolerance is incredible—this panel keeps delivering power even when partially shaded, which is a game-changer for real-world use where conditions are rarely perfect. The flexibility and thin profile make it super easy to install on uneven or curved surfaces. It is adaptable to mount in varying surfaces and can be purchased with our without adhesive tape. It’s light, discreet, and durable enough to handle the road without the bulk or fragility of traditional rigid panels. What really sets it apart is the CIGS technology. This isn’t just marketing hype—CIGS panels are known for their longer lifespan and better performance over time, and BougeRV delivers on that. I’m confident this panel will outlast many of the cheaper alternatives I’ve used in the past.Lastly, a big shoutout to BougeRV’s customer support. They’re responsive, helpful, and genuinely care about their customers’ experience—something that’s become all too rare.If you’re looking for a reliable, high-performing, and long-lasting solar solution, this is it. I’ll definitely be buying more.

LOVE THESE PANELS
I am reviewing the latest solar panel I purchased, but I do own a lot of them now. I have been purchasing these for over a year I think. I have eight of them, and I bought four additional panels for my son's set up. I love these! I just love them. I have to say they are pricey but I have bought other suit case panels and rigid panels and they overall do not compare. The suitcase panels are cumbersome for me as I am 68 year old woman who is physically active and healthy but I do not like wrestling with the flopping around of the suitcase style panels. The BougeRV flexible panels are just that, flexible. When I want to move them, which I have a few times, I just roll them up and wrap a piece of velcro strap to secure the panel and off I go. They have been on the roof which is the best place for where I live as I do not have much yard space. I took them down because of the wind and I do not want to permanently install. They are very thin so I made simple frames and screwed them on the frame and currently lined up in the back of my place leaning against a block wall. Now as far as quality, if you haven't seen YT Hobo Tech, he does a good review. I have not tested these as extensively has he did. I can say they have held up really nicely due to the wind. They have scratches which hasn't created problems. Like all solar panels they will only produce so much power. Mine are 200w panels and I get about 100w plus. During the peak of the day I get over 400w out of the 800w set feeding my Bluetti. The other four panels are feeding other power stations. I know I could get more but I do not go out and adjust them except during the winter months once in a while I will try to direct them to the low sun and to get a little more out of them. Pricey yes, durable yes. I am actually totally sold on these. I plan on moving sometime this year so I may be buying more later on to feed my addiction to solar LOL.

So far, soooo good!
Replaced a cheap Chinese panel that failed in 1.5 years. Very impressed so far. Drew 102 watts in full sun and 25 watts through clouds. So far so good.

Pleased!
First use of the BougeRV Yuma 100W Compact CIGS Thin-Film Flexible Solar Panel was for a 2 week remote camping trip. Paired with a Bluetti power station (also new). The panel recharged the power station in very reasonable times, under 3 hours in direct sun.I didn’t intend to install the panel permanently anywhere (on a roof, for example.) I needed the panel to be very portable. Before I received it, I planned to roll it up and transport it in its shipping box. That proved impractical, it was almost impossible to single-handedly get it back in the shipping tube. I wanted to protect it during transport so I mounted it onto 1/8” plywood. For now I strap a beach towel to it to protect from scratching or rubs. I’ll figure something better soon. Having it on the plywood made setting it up in the sun super easy. This panel easily kept the power station charged, which meant all our devices stayed charged:2 cell phones, 2 Sena head sets, gps, laptop, iPad, and a battery pack for bf’s CPAP.Very happy with this purchase, and it has a 10 year warranty 👍🏻

Great easy to install solar panel
Bought on sale with the grommets, ended up buying the butyl tap separately for mounting.Great performance.

Good Service After the Grommets Rusted
Update: the company claims the corroded grommets were a supplier problem and refunded my money for the panels. I appreciate that they stood behind their product. I’d be willing to try these again if they have in fact fixed the issue. Upgrading from 1 star to 3 stars.Original review: These have rusted and ruined my gelcoat! I originally got the tape-down version because they fit nicely on my boat, but the tape was oozing out the sides from just a day or two in the sun. Then I ordered the grommet version and used my own 3M VHB tape to mount them. However, the grommets began to rust after a month and ruined the freshly waxed gelcoat on my boat. Who makes a product intended to be outside without stainless steel? It was exposed to rain and fresh water from a hose but no salt. Would not recommend!
