Too small.
The cards offer a variety of exercises but should be much larger. The print is small and cannot easily be read. The pictures add ease of understanding, but they are too small again. I will return.

Think twice about ordering these
Really bad! Just a random set of exercises. No continuity. Not categorized in any way, such as beginner, advanced. They do explain the exercises, though.I wish I could get my money back.No stars

Easy Fast Way to Maintain Balance & Core
Probably like a lot of other people, as I've gotten older, I've increasingly neglected balance related exercises and activities. At the same time, I've developed neurological health problems which affect balance, making it even more important to have strong core muscles and work on balance. The older you get, the more of a safety issue it becomes as well. I thought this deck of cards would help me do a better job of working on different areas throughout the week (instead of what I usually do, which is work on the same small handful of moves I can remember off the top of my head). I also have a limited amount of energy available to me each day, as someone with chronic illness, so just knocking out 3-5 moves per day is perfect. These cards have a variety of moves that vary in difficulty. Most of the moves I would consider in the easy to moderate range with only a few tricky ones you need to be legit fit for. You can simply remove the cards that are too difficult for you right now, or if you have a disability or injury that may make some moves impossible. I have very bad knees so there are a couple of moves that are too deep of a squat for me, for example. And I have 1 frozen shoulder which makes a few moves impossible for me until that resolves. But I am not super fit and only need to remove less than 10% of the cards. The moves are mostly focused on balance, not difficult bodyweight exercises so most people should be able to do most of the moves even if you are quite unfit and there are modifications you can do on some moves as well. So don't be intimated by "for Athletes" as it's suitable for others. It's a pretty small amount of cards where you need "equipment" although you have some flexibility there are well. You could use items like kettlebells, free weights, medicine balls. You can just use things around your house like a filled up backpack, detergent bottles if you can't afford equipment. You can add on things like resistance straps, to exercises that don't list them, to make them harder. Lots of ways to modify these exercises with a little research and creativity. The cards are slightly thick and plastic laminated, good quality. Enough of a variety of moves so you won't feel like you're doing the same thing every day. Cost is reasonable. I like this method more than reading a book, and less time to get moving compared to loading up a video on a screen.
