Cleans and sanitises jacuzzi baths

Hadn't used our whirlpool bath for quite a while. Our grand daughter (10) came to stay and asked if she could try it out. When we switched the bath on these kind of black bits and deposits appeared on top of the foam so obviously it needed a clean out. A look on the Internet showed various products and I whittled it down to this one. I couldn't source it anywhere local though many other HG products were stocked and then I came across it on Amazon. Very pleased with the result, it's cleaned the bath out really thoroughly. No unpleasant or overpowering smells, we'll now use the product monthly to keep the pipework clear.

It’s perfect for the job .

I really don’t understand why they added foaming agents to the whirlpool cleaner, it makes using it a real pain.My tips to stop it overflowing with foam is to set all jets to the absolute minimum before you add the cleaner. If you have a water softener set it to bypass so you fill the whirlpool bath with hard water or stay around to spray the foam with a bit of water at the side of the bath so the foam doesn’t overflow. I was really shocked that even with super hard water it still foamed ridiculously to the point it was overflowing if I didn’t have the jets on anything other than minimum. It’s obvious that HG did a really poor job with their product testing and the lack of detail on the instructions don’t help either, just saying set jets to minimum would have helped.Now I’ve worked out how to use it without foam going everywhere, it does do a good job and is keeping my whirlpool clean without having to use chlorine or something else nasty. No more black bits etc.

This smells lovely and fresh, I put 75ml in mine and it cleared out any gunk living in the pipes. You have to stay in the bathroom to keep an eye on it as it will foam up with the jets on.The bottle will last quite a while as its a 1ltr bottle and you only need a small amount for it to do its job.
