I lost my previous can/bottle opener, but this one has a magnet! Very sharp and well made. Recommended.

I read some of the reviews and was quite humored by them. In a nutshell, we purchase a pair of bottle openers / can tapper with magnets that fall off if you drop the product. I am guessing it might depend on the type of flooring (laminate as opposed to ceramic tile) because I went in to my kitchen took them off the fridge and deliberately kept dropping them without any success of knocking the magnet off. The product is on the inexpensive side so we should expect equitable results (this is generally the norm for cheaper product price/or and clearance bins at stores).One reviewer wrote that the magnets on the back were crooked. The back of a magnet, that sticks to the fridge where no one will see the crooked magnet - isn't that splitting hairs?To the diabetics and anyone else with a hand injury or limited use of the hands, I really do feel for you. I am in a wheelchair now because of a very painful fall off the back porch last year. I have learned a lot about products made for those with limited use of their extremities. Surf the internet or call a local medical equipment provider for some help with finding a product that will work for you. I wish you luck.I have yet to bend or break mine and, if I do, I will grab the second one.

Nice deep can opener. I looked at many but this was where I stopped. Got 2 so if out at picnic nice for bottle opener in glove box too.

I have an old church key, it doesn't work well anymore. This one is great and since it has a magnet, I keep it handy on the side of my refrigerator. I wish that I hadn't waited so long to get the new one.
