Q: How tall is the hook and how tall is the bag? It says the height is 27” but is that just the bag, or the height of the bag plus the hook?

The hook is an additional 6 inches bringing the total of the bag and hook to 33 inches.

Q: Would one bag hold a week's worth of men's dry cleaning (5 dress shirts, 2-3 pairs of pants)?

Yes! Probably more, too. We use it to measure one load for our medium sized washer at the public laundromat.

Q: how large is the package this bag comes in?

I ordered 2 bags that were in individual boxes approximately 1' x 18", which was fine, however both came in a box approximately 6' x 24".

Q: How can it be cotton canvas if it's 65% polyester?

I'm apparently U.S. Entry Writer/ Customs Broker. It's by the chief weight, not the % of the fabric. Polyester is lighter than cotton.
