Jamie Vardy: From Nowhere, My Story Paperback – May 1, 2018

This is such a unique story. Great for football/soccer enthusiasts as well as anyone interested in a 5000-1 chance story. There is a lot reference to alcohol and his pre-training energy drink comments which probably are not best as far as a role model, but it is honest, genuine and raw, and he does value his family above all. Also great re being a team player and how important his relationships with friends, managers, other players are to him.

Great read - highly recommend if you’re a football fan or not. You get a behind the scenes journey of Jamie Vardy’s unpredictable life.

This is a very easy read. To his great credit, Jamie deals openly with his criminal record, accusations of racism, and his strained relationship with his parents. He's also not afraid to call out those in the dressing room he gets along with, and those he didn't care so much for. Above all, it's an amazing story, well written, and with the only downside that sometimes you're left wanting more detail. Recommended.

Would recommend to everyone who loves the game of soccer. This book taught me a lot about Jamie Vardy and how he became a professional.

Great book. Well written. Inspirational. Vardy took responsibility for his mistakes. Gave hims teammates credit for his success. Credited his wife and children for keeping things in perspective.

Inspiring story that will make me believe in everything I set myself to do. I can he overcame the odds.
