Cheaply made but does work, its held in place but two board pins and that limits its use to things that will allow the pin being forced into it, rather than a telescopic stand, that said you can use nails if you dont mind damaging what ever needs levelling.... in which case add a star uses 3 batteries and the board pins are stored in the same compartment

It is bright and fits in the hand nicely but the laser beam fans out after only a couple of yards. You get what you pay for don’t you.
