Velda Pond Thermometer

Bought this in readiness for a complete pond clean to ensure fish didn't suffer temperature change on there return. Nothing complicated, it does work and is accurate enough for the job in hand. It now hangs in the garden on a hook and matches the met office temperatures to within one degree.

Bought for monitoring water temperatures of my fishing waters, it does the job and looks accurate enough, though I needed to drill a small whole at the buoyancy end for a slow submergence for deeper water temps.

I bought this so I could monitor the temperature of my garden pond and adjust the fish food for the approaching winter. The thermometer is easy to read and has a tether so it’s easy to retrieve too. Perfect for the job and good value for money.

Very pleased with this. Use it for checking water temp for cold water therapy but would be good for the pond too

It's just very easy to read and use.The temp is clear.It floats well. It traps air under the top of the black lid. It comes with a string to stop it floating away.Being black it just camouflages it really well and you don't notice it in the pond.Fast delivery. Well packed.

Floats well, the attached cord keeps it from travelling around pond, easy to read, all in all good item

Works OK but not easy to get an accurate reading, has gone slimy over time.

Ce thermomètre se comporte très bien après plusieurs d'utilisation. Il flotte parfaitement en position verticale contrairement à certains commentaires que j'ai pu lire, et la lecture de température est très claire (cf. ma photo jointe). De plus, la température indiquée semble fiable puisque je l'ai comparée avec celle donnée par un thermomètre de précision que j'ai immergé temporairement dans mon bassin. Je pense pour conclure que c'est un investissement d'un bon rapport qualité/prix.

Unfortunately it wasn't good enough for me...I was hoping something that shows on the top the temperature rather then pulling it all the time...sometimes the measurements are not reflecting the real temperature..I can't even explane it
