Great organic product....albeit a slightly pricey one
Great fresh organic meat, vegatable and rice mix. Absolutely no filler in the ingredient list and you can tell when you open it up.We mix this with the puppy kibble and it does seem to make the meal a bit more exciting for the dog. It's not a particularly 'wet' food, not really a gravy or anything, more just dry minced meat with veg and rice, so you do have to work to mix it up with the kibble. If you leave in the fridge overnight you're better off getting it out about an hour before you plan on mixing in.Pouches do not last long however and even with mixing it with kibble we are going through a box every couple of weeks, so its quite an expensive addition to the menu!

Not what I was expecting
Product is not what I was expecting. I was expecting 12 x 400g pouches but instead received 2 lots of 6 395g trays. Product is still OK, but consistency of this product is far wetter with conjealed fat and I could have bought this from anywhere and cheaper. Would have much preferred the 400g pouches

BURNS MOIST DOG FOOD - TOP QUALITY NATURAL INGREDIENTS - IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS!!
Based on the empty bowl, I think this food is a big hit with our eleven year old collie. She's a bit on the pudgy side, so we were searching for a low fat, high fibre 'natural' food that she would eat. Burns moist dog food is loaded with fresh ingredients and is really high in fibre, so it must be very satisfying. The pouches contain 400gms but because it is a substantial and filling type of food, we give her half a pouch in the morning and half in the evening. We also add a handful of the dry Burns Weight Control food with chicken and oats, which provides extra fibre and a bit of crunch. She seems very content, which has made it easy for us to cut back on fattening treats. I would agree with one of the other customers that a resealable pouch would be very useful for those of us who split the food into separate meals, however a clothes peg or an elastic band will work. The food itself is clearly fresh, top quality and worth every penny.

My dogs do seem to like this food as a treat and I do think ...
I bought this food when my Spaniel was off her food for a short time, due to a false pregnancy, to try to entice her to eat. She didn't eat the food at the time, however, since she has been eating properly again, she has eaten it as a treat a couple of times, along with my Boxer (I'm using it this way, as this is not their normal food and I am trying to use it up). I feel that this food is ok, as it is made in this country and is made of natural ingredients. However, in my opinion there is too much rice and not enough meat and vegetables in the mix, to use as a balanced diet for my dogs. There is only one or two types of vegetables used and I think that more variety could be included and more meat/egg used in the product. My dogs do seem to like this food as a treat and I do think that the Egg variety is a good idea. In my opinion, a fairly good product, but not enough meat/egg and vegetable variety for my dogs, but ok as a treat.

NomNom for Sensitive Mutts!
This actually looks like what it says. The rice, meat and vegetables are clear to see, although have as yet to see veg other than carrots. The dogs seem to enjoy it,suitable for a delicate tumpty and no signs of pancreatitis either. It is good value for money. Alas, more often than not, the boxes are a bit bashed about and the food is in plastic bags so sometimes there has been damage and the bags, which are inside a cardboard box from the factory, have food stuck on the outside of the bags as well. Still, it's by the by and the actual dogfood is well worth a try if you haven't used it before, especially for a pooch with a delicate digestive system and/or sensitive skin.

% for flavour... well thats what my dog says.
I haven't tasted one of these bad boys, but the way my dog wolfs them down I'd have to assume they taste amazing. Sort of like a lamb roast with all of the best bits, ground into a meaty slab and served in a plastic (recyclable) container.

Dogs love it
It is not smelly like other wet foods and the dogs like it just as much. I also think it is gentler on their stomachs
