Perfect for beats on the go
Great for playing or practicing on the go. Lacks real bass sound but lightweight and perfect for jamming with friends.

Fantastic
A portable drum kit smaller than an A4 folder. Size means the bass is limited but so easy to take anywhere. Mae sure you hit the playing surface hard to get the best effects.

Great for practice!
This is a great, nifty little cajon - with 'take-it-anywhere' appeal. But the snares are a bit rattly and seem lose (unless its a fault in my 1), so its not good on stage.I have this as well as a normal cajon, and i can use this any time of day because its nice and quiet (not silent, but not deafening).

It works! Good volume and range.
For its size, good volume and range. It's not an orchestral instrument, but if you're short of space it can be great. Not just for travel.I'm confined to one room plus kitchen in my house. My djembes and my full-size cahon are with a friend . With this travel cajon I can keep my hand in when ever I need to drum.

Poor quality and sound
Very disapointed with the quality of this item. The wood casing had a chip in it and the rest of the casing was scuffed and marked. The snare wires sounded as though they had come loose inside. Sound was also very poor and a better sound could be achieved tapping on a wooden table!

Three Stars
Fast delivery a handy device for learning cajon while traveling .

Sounds ok, but quality is questionable
This sounds not too bad given the dimensions of the item. I like the dynamic when playing with other percussion instruments and when using it to add colour to overall sound. If this was my only percussion instrument I'd be pretty disappointed.A word of caution - don't be tempted to use hard sticks or mallets on this as it will tarnish readily. If this doesn't bother you, it does sound good played this way.

well made and easy to cart around but lacks the depth of sound ...
The reviews were absolutely accurate - portable, well made and easy to cart around but lacks the depth of sound - hardly surprising and O would guess as good as one is likely to get given the limitations.,
