I just got my order and I am quite pleased. Based on the other reviews, I ordered the following colors - red, purple, and green. The red is pink (which is what I was hoping for). The green is a lovely sea foam green and the purple is a true purple (with some pink specks). They seem a perfect size, if not a little big for the 5 year old triplets these were bought for. I also didn't notice a big odor, but I did smell a little something when I sniffed. I am letting them air out for a few days for good measure. So far it looks like a great deal.

My daughter wanted one of these so bad. I thought this was a great price so I bought it. It shipped very fast. I gave it 4 stars because when I opened the package it had a very bad smell... but one quick wash and it was fine. She loves wearing it while watching her shows. It is very soft. Love it!

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it! The color is really pretty. I will say it is not very soft, though. It came in a vacuum sealed package and when I opened it, there was a strange smell and many pressed in creases from the vacuum packing. The smell came out in the wash but the wrinkles did not. Oh well, it's still pretty cute and serves it's purpose of creating the 'mermaid' look!

I think the opening for the feet should be larger, the child who receive this is 8 and she cold not get her feet through the bottom opening without a struggle. Very cute though.

We purchased these as gifts for our 4 year old nieces and they absolutely LOVED them. They're high quality and just the right size to where they fit them well enough now, but also give them room to grow.

Got this for my 4 year old niece for her birthday. It's a little big, but she'll grow into it. She loved it! It's big for her, but it's something she can keep for quite some time. I didn't want to get her another toy that she played with for a few days and then it just sat in her toybox.

Arrived as expected, slight smell from being shrink wrapped. Letting it air out, but it is very soft and and well made.

I wish that the tail was a little more sturdy because you have to literally lay the tail flat in order to tell that’s is a mermaid tail. Otherwise it just looks like a regular blanket Also it’s not very big. My daughter is 4 and it’s almost too small for her. I bought another mermaid tail from tj Maxx and it was cheaper and better quality
