Mouldmaster PMM05 Premium Casting Plaster 5Kg, White

I found this to be excellent quality, I use it for many various crafts and have ordered more, the finish is silky and shiny, yet durable. Mixes easily and demolds easily enough from my silicone and plastic molds . Very reasonable priced too !!

Used with a class of year 4s. They loved it an super easy to use, went off in about 10 mins and fully solid to be used as a mould for latex in about 30 mins, though it was a hot room! Is a little soft but that may have been how it was mixed.

I so wanted to love this product.Price wise it's fantastic value, even when compared to the usual brand I buy on Temu.However the Chinese casting powder on Temu , when mixed as per instructions is almost liquid , which makes casting easy , and it dries gloss white.This when mixed as per instructions resembles wall filler , which makes casting more difficult and prone to imperfections especially on detailed items. It also dries an off white.The photos show Temu based casting powder v this.Pros : good value for money, smooth to touch finish , quick curing time , good hardness.Cons : difficult to cast as very thick consistency, as a result casting prone to defects , dull finished colour will require additional painting / colouring.Premium range but not premium quality.Would I buy again? NO
