these were suggested in place of the smaller washers with little grip legs I bought last time as they are unavailable. These are far inferior, unlike the previous ones the well is not deep enough for an 80mm x 6mm screw head which results in the washer pulling away from the board to get the screw deep enough to be flat with the board and then you have to bash the washer flat with a hammer. For smaller screws perhaps they are fine but for main two inch or above insulation installs into brickwork needing larger screws, not so much.They will do the job, just not without some fiddling.

Tried to used them to secure 25mm polystyrene and they bend like hell. I saw positive reviews about the item and I really wonder what they were used for.

As others have said very thin flexible material so when used the distort and buckle with the slightest pressure. Ended up using 2 at a time to limit the buckling.Wouldn't buy again
