My cat wouldn't eat these at first in their soft solid form. I don't think she liked the smell or taste of the oil. So I sprinkled them over her food and now she eats them. Her coat has improved and her dry skin is has less dry flakes. I think the vitamins are helping her. We have a subscription for these. A good product for her. She is beginning her senior year's, so she is good so far with this product.

My male cat has allergies. He is prone to coughing fits, that get especially bad in the spring and fall. He will scratch his ears so bad at times it requires a vet visit and steroids. Ive swapped foods many times until I finally found a good combination that jives with him that my other cat will also eat. I make sure the furnace filters are fresh, put an air filter where he spends most of his time and keep the carpets vacuumed well. Yet the coughing continued. If you ever sat and watched your cat go through a coughing fit, its not a pleasant experience. I decided to give this product a try and it seems to be working great. Since starting about 3 weeks ago, I've only noticed him coughing once. The duration of the fit was less than half of what was usual and he seemed not to be in as much distress. He also sounded less congested. This time of year its not uncommon for him to have 3 to 5 episodes a week. I noticed it was starting to ramp up again recently and this put it to a pretty immediate stop to it. Im thrilled with the results! My female cat is very picky about what she eats and she enjoys these as well. They think they are bonus treats. Just a note: if your cat is coughing it can indicate other more seroius issues, so a vet trip would be a good idea to rule those out before turning to a supplement.

Updated review: I was very pleased that the seller of this product reached out extremely quickly after I left this review. They offered a refund of my money since I apparently have exceptionally picky cats. I do really appreciate the extra effort and suggestions they offered to see if I could get my cats to accept this supplement. I will continue to try to get them to accept it and if they do, will update that. Maybe it's like trying to feed a picky toddler and I have to keep offering it until they accept it. I was able to mix these in with wet food but since they rarely eat all of their wet food, I'm not sure how much they are actually getting. They are both masters of eating the "good" parts and leaving behind what they don't like, no matter how little I give them. I am currently splitting a 3 oz can of wet food between them and they leave about half. I mashed one of each of these up in their individual portions and they did not seem to notice, leaving behind the same amount as usual. Maybe I will have to start quartering the can and see if I can get the full dose in each of them. I bumped my rating to 4 stars because of the customer service and effort on this product. Original review because I was mad that I could not return the item and my cats wouldn't touch them: Expensive waste of money.

I've been buying this product for a few years now, my cat loved it, when I gave it to her she would eat it without hesitation. After a short time of it being out of stock, I recieved it again and it was totally different, color, smell and apparently the taste, she would touch it. Thought maybe it was a bad batch so I ordered again and the same thing. Now I'm stuck with two containers that she won't eat and neither will any of my other cats. Not sure why the company changed it but they need to go back how it was before.

I really like this product. My daughter turned me on to this because of the eye watering and sneezing that my cat does. I give him one “treat” a day on his dry food and I believe it has cut down on the hairball vomits too! I have this on subscription and glad I do. I never run out! I’m recommending this product.

Changed rating for the hands on and quick response from the owner. Thank you and I wish this company the best! I was so hopeful for these to work. I have a 7 yr old cat & her two boys that unfortunately have an autoimmune condition that requires them to stay on a lysine product to help with their health. Especially the skin irritation and lung health of the momma cat. I did research for a week trying to find a product they would eat because 2 others I’ve used changed their formula. I was excited for them to try this because it seemed more like a treat. Sadly none of them would eat these. Not even mixed with salmon, tuna or a pate. Even our other 2 cats who will eat anything won’t touch these. Wasted money and still unable to find something to help our girl who is so uncomfortable right now. The vets can’t even give anything else to help her & said the lysine is the best option. It’s just hard finding one they’ll all enjoy.

My cat had a weepy eye for some reason. I called the vet and the vet's assistant asked if I had tried lysine. So I bought these supplement chews. Cat wouldn't eat them like a treat, but I broke them up into her food. Her eye responded and cleared after just a few days. There are a lot of pieces in the jar. They are soft and easily crumbled. Lysine is just one of the immune supporting ingredients.

I used this product in the past to control my cat's sneezing. It worked wonderfully the entire time we used it. Unfortunately, our cat recently decided that he no longer approved of the supplement. He used to eat it when we tossed it on top of his canned food. When this stopped working, we chopped up the supplement and mixed it into his canned food. Doing that made him refuse to eat his canned diet. I reached out to the manufacturer to ask if there has been a recent formula/recipe change that might explain our cat's sudden rejection of the supplement. I received a prompt, informative and thoughtful response from the owner himself explaining that nothing had changed with the ingredients and/or the manufacturing of the product. He offered a full refund for the item even though there was not an issue with the product itself. Our issue was just a case of "cats being cats" and the owner was still willing to stand behind the palatability of the item. Kudos to Jeremy and his family-run team for producing a great product (all made in the America, by the way) and for the EXCEPTIONAL customer service that they provide.
