Overlock, Topstitch Machine Needles, Size, 12/80 5/Pkg

I love Schmetz needles for my sewing and embroidery machine. They are perfectly smooth (with no little burrs) and are super sharp. They make your work look nice!!

Will definitely use again. Was every happy on how easy it sewed.

After watching a show about a woman who spent 40 years investigating needles and threads, I bought these. The woman explained how top stitch needles help avoid thread from shredding. That she used them for all her sewing. I tried them out and presto ! No shredded threads. Wish I had known about these years ago!!!

Great needles.

However with this brand of needles' I found the my embroidery machine did not like it. would not auto thread thereafter placing it in, I replace with others needles- I still use it just have to not use to threader.

I was told to use topstitch machine needles when using metallic thread and slow machine speed down to prevent breakage. Also thread should come off from side, not off from the top. Seemed to work!

Of course these are the best needles!

I just love using this brand of needle. Can't go wrong.
