No complaints. Attractive case and the buttons are clickey.. I haven't dropped my phone yet, but I think it'll provide decent protection. It's magnet grips well. I hit several speed bumps and the phone stayed put. Charging speeds were good too. What I like most is the camera bar isn't covered by the case (though it is recessed, and it comes with a tempered glass protector, so the bar is protected). My previous case covered the bar, which caused photo flaring in direct sun. Good case, no complaints yet.

I'm really surprised at the quality of this case. I bought it 18 months ago for my Pixel 7 and it has been a champ. I drop my phone regularly and I've never had any damage to my phone. The magnetic ring is strong enough to hold my phone to the dashboard of my rough riding truck. The mount grabs it when close and holds it tight. The case was crystal clear when I bought it and is yellowing now. Not a bad deal for fifteen bucks and a year and a half of service.

Great case. Very slim. It would be difficult to find a case any more slim than this. It works perfectly fine with wireless charging. It likely won't protect the phone too well from a multi-story drop or getting thrown across the room or anything like that, but if it's just dropped on the floor or tossed onto a bed or couch, then your phone will definitely be perfectly fine. The bumper around the camera bar keeps the lenses protected very well. Very simple and easy to put on and take off without effort. Power and volume buttons feel great and sound more clicky than the phone itself. It does feel a little bit slippery, but due to the camera bar of the Pixel 8 Pro, it shouldn't slide down out of your hand very easy anyway. My only gripe is all the smudges on the back. It's definitely fingerprint resistant but you'll start to notice smudges all over the back after handling it, which makes it look very dirty. It can easily be wiped or cleaned off but even just putting the case on after cleaning it thoroughly there's already smudges where I touched it. If you're picky about seeing smudges like I am, this will likely bother you a lot. Still, the case certainly gets the job done and feels nice to the touch.

I originally only got this case as a backup, but it has held up better than expensive name brand cases. Having Parkinsons I drop my phone at least 5 times a day, and have broke many cases. The raised corners on this cover has saved my screen (that currently doesn't have a screen protector). The magnet is nice and strong and works great with magsafe products. After over a month, no signs of yellowing despite my cigarette smoke and having a white phone.

This fit my Pixel 7 pro perfectly. i already have a magnetic phone holder in my car and though i was prepared to have to buy a new one to work with this case, I didn't have to; it holds just fine onto the not fancy Nato mount i got from Amazon years ago! Just have to be sure it's in the right spot for max hold. As a bonus, it also works great with both my pixel stand and Samsung Qi chargers. The case has held up really well so far after a month of use and abuse. (its been dropped a few times, ugh) No scratches, breakage or discoloration yet, though i would gladly purchase another if it came to that. It's doing its job and looking good while doing so.

Case is fine but buy another brand. This one is too thin around the sides and offer little to no protection for your screen. Worse is the magnet in the back. I have a strong wallet attachment and it does not stay put. Slides around very easily. I test 3 different other clear cases with magnets and the others do not have this problem.

It usually charges fine when using the ESR for Qi2 15W MagSafe charger. As other reviews state, it does occasionally stop charging, however I'm not sure it's the case's fault. I've noticed it usually stops charging more on hot days, so I think what's happening is that wireless charging is disabled when the phone gets too hot. The case probably does contribute to making the phone a bit hotter, but there's only so much you can do to dissipate heat through a plastic case. If I have the A/C on blowing onto the back of the phone with a vent mount, the wireless charging seems to work fine. It's when I turn the A/C off and have the windows open that I typically see charging stop. Seems like after it's had a few mins to cool it will start up charging again automatically though. I use this case with my Pixel 7 and Doordash all day long some days, and I have yet to run out of battery by the end of the day.

I recently grabbed the MAKAVO magnetic case (MagSafe compatible, slim hard back) for my Pixel 7 Pro hoping for a sleek protective option — and while it looks good initially, there are too many issues to ignore. The hard back finish has a nice sheen and the case fits the phone well with clean cutouts. The slim profile is attractive and didn’t add much bulk, which I appreciated. On that front, the design choices are definitely appealing. However, the more I used it, the more I noticed compromise after compromise — hence the two-star rating. First, the magnetic hold, while present, isn’t very strong. I noticed my MagSafe accessories were less stable than with higher-quality cases; one mount detached from the hold during a minor jostle in my bag. Second, protection seems lacking: the hard back scratches easily and the corners, while slightly reinforced, still allowed scuffs to sneak in when I set the phone down on rougher surfaces. The drop protection feels minimal. Lastly, after a few weeks of moderate use, the finish already showed tiny cracks and scuffs near the ports — not what you want from a case meant for daily protection. In short: If you care most about looks and keeping a slim profile, the MAKAVO case delivers on those fronts. But if you prioritize strong MagSafe magnetic stability, robust protection, or long-term durability, this case doesn’t meet those needs. I’d recommend looking at something more premium if you carry your phone often, use mounts regularly, or want real protection.
