Wonderful series.
As a HUGE James Herriot/ Alf Wight fan, this series honors his writings. This program is my favorite TV series and it is completely family friendly. The actors portrayal of the characters is wonderful and the writing is top rate. The writing and acting is a tremendous mixture of humor and pure joy. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. There is one major problem, there are not enough episodes in a series.

Wonderful Series
This season is another fun and heartwarming show to watch! I can't get enough of this series. Even though there are only 7 episodes per season, there have always been plenty of entertainment value for me. I'll continue to watch (and purchase the discs of) future seasons, as many as they'll produce!

A show for people of all ages
This is our favorite TV show. There just aren't enough episodes per season and the hiatus is entirely too long, so you're left wanting for more all the time. But seriously, this is a show that people of all ages can enjoy. Even more if you like to see the countryside of the area it's set in or the era of the mid-late 1930's.

Am a fan of All Creatures Great and Small, PBS Masterpiece. So happy to have this DVD as part of my collection so that I can watch it whenever I want.

Very enjoyable BBC production
This show has everything...Great story line, cinematography, and acting. There’s drama, humor, romance and everything else between. It’s a very charming show the whole family would enjoy together. There is currently three seasons available.

One of my all time favourite British TV programmes ! I have seen all the episodes including the ones from the original series which I believe came out in the 1980s .
